Maybe the best value hotel to stay in Shinagawa right in front of the JR station. You can tell it's a well maintained older hotel, but that also means relatively bigger space compared to newer business hotels. Internet was smooth. 50-60mbps and had no issues streaming and playing games. Really don't have much to complain about. Very well staffed. Everything was clean. Some wear and tear from the age (scratches on the table, torn wallpaper). Bed was super hard, but I was strangely able to sleep thanks to the silence. Downstairs has limited food. There seems to be a lot of western choices like TGIF which Japanese people like, but I don't as a person from the US. Shinagawa itself is not the best place to stay if you are exploring Tokyo it's more of a business district. However, it's a good place if you are just using it as a starting point to take trains everywhere. There isn't much in the area other than A LOT of people working (which is fun to see too) and an aquarium.

The location conveniency is great , my checking in took too much time and forever, I guess my room wasn't ready and instead of offerring me a seat to while preparing my room, this Guy keep on doing some kinda talking delays and i stood for like 30 minutes and realize the huge line after me and besides me were all checked in. What a stress! 💔front Desk is absolutely unprofessional , need more training. Room atmosphere not bad , But Tea cups in the guest room should have handles, you cant carry or handle it after preparing Tea, so useless! Breakfast was good with clean atmosphere, variety of food and Beverages , Hotel Needs English speaking staffs too, seems like don't have interest in foreigners , very heart breaking.

I thoroughly enjoyed my month at the Shinagawa Prince hotel. I was there for the Olympics so there were covid measures in place. All very well handled. My room in the annex tower was great with superb convenient location, a good view, great WiFi, comfy bed, ample storage, daily bedding and towel change, free bottled water, fridge, hairdryer, toiletries and a great shower. The only drawbacks were not much English speaking TV and breakfast for quarantine (fourth floor) got very boring, after quarantine it was superb on ground floor in main tower. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel.

This trip happened in Nov 2019. Hotel is a traffic light away from Shinagawa Station and is one of the hotels for the Airport Limousine route. We booked a room (corporate rate) in the Main Tower and was given the Corner Room with Sofa Bed which costs around $300/night. Room is rather squeezy (but seems to be the norm for hotels in Tokyo) and a little old with minimal space to open up luggages. Toilet was small but came with full toiletries. Room had kettle, small fridge, hair dryer but no bottled water. Hotel has a shopping mall of its own with a food court, entertainment complexes and various shops and other hotel wings. There are restaurants located opposite and around the area of the hotel too but requires travelling by shinkansen or metro line to tourist spots in Tokyo.

All the self-check-in machines were not available, so the guests had to wait more than half an hour in a long line before check-in. Even under the circumstances of Corona pandemic, they should have found a way not to waste guests‘ time. The room had nothing special to be mentioned.

I stayed late February - just before the Covid -19 lockdown - again at the Shinagawa Price Hotel. Everything was as great as always. The quiet room, as well as the perfect service. A special Thank You to the attentive Front Desk. I arrived into Haneda - which is just 15 train minutes away - and left from Narita. This time I took the Airport Limousine Bus back to the airport. Highly recommendable. After less than an hour nonstop from the lobby, the bus drops you at the terminal .

This hotel is the only hotel that didnt want to give me refund and strictly replying my query stating that my booking is non refundable, even after few times emailing them, i got the same answer. Like its not their problem that i cant travel and stay at their property while the matter is out of my control Meanwhile 5 other hotels on my japan trip plan is understanding my situation and refunding me even though its all non refundable booking Will not considering this property in the future

During my trip in February 2020, I needed one night stay in Tokyo. From a Haneda airport, you can take limousine bus for about $10, or Rail. The fee for rail was about $3. Shinagawa Prince hotel in Shinagawa in Tokyo was in the best location! It is across the street from Shinagawa rail station! Cross the street, go through shopping building and into hotel. The service is excellent! After checkout I left my luggage at baggage room. Caught rail to Tsukiji fish market, and Tokyo Sky Tree Tower. Came back to hotel and picked up my Luggage to get back to Haneda Airport to meet friends. We were in our way to Nagano for skiing! The hotel rate was $95 per night! I would easily go back again!

Stayed for 2 nights. This is a large hotel with a main tower, and 2 other hotel towers. Hotel is right across the road from the western exit of Shinagawa Railway Station. I don't think Shinagawa is the best location in Tokyo, ( in my opinion Shinjuku or Ueno are better), but for access to JR Yamanote Line, Tokaido Shinkansen Line, or the Keisei Line to Haneda Airport, then it is handy. The hotel is modern with numerous eateries and attached shops. The rooms are reasonable size, (for Japan) clean and the beds are comfortable. Check in was effortless with numerous staff on the counter to handle the large number of check ins. We had breakfast both mornings in the (very) large ground floor Hapuna restaurant . Food was buffet with both Japanese and Western foods, hot and cold. Went to the whisky bar on level 39 of the main tower, which gives you a great view west towards Mt Fuji and north towards the Tokyo tower. Overall a really good hotel, not too expensive , lots of facilities and convenient.

The Shinagawa Prince hotel complex is conveniently located opposite Shinagawa Station. The complex is connected to a variety of restaurants, shops and services. Hotel guests have a choice of four or five in-restaurants to choose from. I stayed a few nights at the Shinagawa Prince Annex Hotel during a recent visit to Tokyo. My room was rather cozy, but I had a nice view of cityscape; on a clear winter day, I could see Mt Fuji!
