Great location, very close to the train station. Quiet neighborhood, comfortable room. Although the 3rd bed is a pull-out sofa bed, it is sturdy and comfy. Room is quite small, if one person is moving about, the others have to stay on their beds. The staff are friendly and attentive. The bathroom is small but I love the high-quality aromatherapy soap and shampoo provided. This hotel might only be 3 stars, but the comfort level is beyond 3 stars.
This hotel is a great, quiet, clean, well looked after hotel only a few minutes uphill walk from Shinagawa station. You can get to and from Haneda airport via Shinagawa station. There is a 711 store in the hotel across the rd, McDonalds just down the road. Staff were very good, there is a lounge with coffee making facilities, laundry, drink and snack machines. The breakfast was good. No complaints whatsoever and would stay again.
My wife and I decided to stay at a different hotel on this visit to Shinagawa, so we decided on the Shinagawa Tobu. It was a good choice, a warm welcome when we arrived, the room was a reasonable size, excellent beds. A free Smart phone with access to data and free calls, even international was provided in the room to all guests. If there was one thing I would have liked in the room, it was more storage space for clothing, hangars were provided but otherwise no wardrobe. Apart from that however it was an excellent choice of hotel, just five minutes down the hill to Shinagawa station.
Stayed 5 nights, it was a nice clean and comfortable room and bathroom for 4 people. Room was cleaned daily and bottled water provided daily. Nice and quiet area close to JR Shinagawa Station. Pretty good room size for 4 people.
Located in close proximity to Shinagawa Station, this hotel is modern and clean within a quiet residential area. It is located directly opposite the Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa, which is where a 7-11 convenience store is located as well. The hotel provides coin-operated washing machines within the premise, which saves you time having to walk to the nearest laundromat. Staff at the service desk are polite, friendly and professional. We traveled with two young kids and everyone had a good rest every night for the three nights that we spent there!
Location is convenient to Shinagawa station. The staff was very polite. However, the room was very small, even by Japanese standards. Physical keys should be upgraded to key cards. The third bed was an uncomfortable sofa bed. The bathroom is tiny. Shades let in too much light. Very expensive for what it is. The worst aspect was the noise from the hallway and other rooms. The three other hotels we stayed in in Japan had good soundproofing but this hotel did not. I would not stay here again.
Just a couple of blocks from Shinagawa Station (an uphill walk), this hotel is very good value for its location. While the room and bathroom were small (not unusual in Japan), it was well appointed, clean and very comfortable. There was an air-conditioner on the wall, but we didn't need to use it as we could open the large window for fresh air. Service was friendly and efficient. An Iron was provided on request – brought up to the room within minutes. Toiletries provided in the bathroom were very good. Pyjamas also provided! Tea and coffee making facilities, a fridge and hair dryer were in the room. Bottled water was provided daily.
Really nice stay, close to amenities, staff are friendly and helpful. It is an older hotel and has had a nice upgrade. Breakfast restaurant is good as are the staff you get a hot plate, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and mash potato, then the buffet of cold foods, breads, pastries etc. Staff english is limited but they do make a really strong effort, the TV,CNN is the only english language channel, even the premium pay tv is only in Japanese. No in room safe.
We checked in on 3 May 2019. Front desk staff is polite and courteous. There are 3 things I don't quite like about this hotel. 1. The room has no air conditioner and we can only open the window slightly. During the afternoon when the scorching hot sun is shining on our room, we sweat profusely. When we called the receptionist, the nice gentleman brought a table fan with him and said that the aircon is run by battery (which we don't quite understand). 2. They only have 2 units of 2-in-1 front load washing/dryer machines and both washing machines were malfunctions even though they accept your coins (¥300 for washing and ¥100 for dryer)! - they cannot pump out the water during the last spin so the clothing remains soaking wet and the dryer cannot do a good job because there were water retained in the drum-we have checked by using our hand to spin the drums and heard the water at the drum base. 3. Breakfast is below standard. Whether you like it or not, they will serve you a plate that consists of 2 small hotdogs, 1 scoop of srambled egg, 2 slices of cooked bacon and 1 scoop of mashed potatoes. At the counter they served buffet style of crossiants, breads and bun and the weird thing is they provide rice that goes with 2 side dishes of sour condiments and curry (with little ingredients). 4. We asked if they could pack our breakfast the next day as we need to catch an early flight at 9.25am at Haneda Airport and the hotel turned us down. …
Effortless checking. Key entry to room. Room airy with large window, very comfy twin beds n pillows. Bathroom not roomy though fully equipped, shower bath combination, hairdryer all the usual inclusions. Quiet night sleep. 7th floor room. Room has heaps of powerpoints, lighting is great with individual bed lamps. Laundry avail., 500yen wash n dry combination. 10min max walk from Shinagawa Stn., west exit, gradual uphill slope to hotel.
