We stayed here in 2017, so when we booked to travel to Tokyo again, we had no hesitation to book this hotel again.

Everything was just as we remembered, small but comfortable rooms, the ladies still get toiletries, but these are given in one go in a bag based on how many days you are there for. It's 5 items per day, so I got 25 items - very useful things such as facemasks, shampoo, conditioner, bath salts etc.

Breakfast was very plentiful with Japanese food and a few Western items such as bacon, eggs and pastries. There is also now a welcome bar for an hour in the evening.

It's within walking distance of Shinjuku station (East exit) and Shinjuku itself is an amazing part of Tokyo!

Very friendly staff too. Highly recommended!

We are very happy with staying in this hotel. The price is quite reasonable if you book in advance, and it is very clean and modern. The rooms are small, but that's what you expect in the middle of Kabukicho...you will probably have to lift your suitcases onto your bed to be able to open it. However, this hotel has an Onsen bathhouse inside the hotel which is wonderful, we really enjoyed bathing there each day rather than in the small bathtub in the room. One thing to be aware of is that the pillows in the room are very hard, bean pillows. Down at reception there is a "pillow choice wall" where you can get various styles of pillows to suit your taste, but there aren't many and they go quickly, so grab one early! Breakfast is included, and was a good start to the day.

The customer service at Super Hotel Shinjuku is excellent and certainly exceeded my expectations! Prompt response and very helpful. We booked 2 rooms via Booking.com last week for our stay coming up in 2023 but did not receive email confirmation for 1 of the rooms. Booking.com is SUPER UNHELPFUL and I wasted a lot of time trying to ask them to re-send the confirmation email, as simple as that. The customer service at the hotel has been so understanding and offer prompt replies and did all they can to assist me. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and look forward to our stay later this year. Bravo to your staff!!

My wife and I had booked a trip to Japan several months before COVID-19 became news. Our airline changed our flight details after the US recommendations to cease all nonessential travel and we had to cancel our trip. We had booked several hotels throughout Japan for our two week stay. Every single one of those hotels allowed us to cancel our reservation and receive a full refund except for this one. We reached out to the hotel management to see what options we had available, not only did they decline a refund request but they also would not honor a future booking using the amount we paid. Furthermore, instead of cancelling our reservation they instead marked us as a no-show despite having submitted the cancellation request weeks before we were to arrive. Based on our experience I would not recommend using their services.

Tiny but practical and comfortable room, very clean and with bathroom with the same characteristics. Modern and strategic hotel in the liveliest district of Tokyo. Varied breakfast of sweet and savory Japanese and Western, although to us the quality did not go crazy.

This hotel is fantastic especially for a first time stay in Tokyo. It’s a great location and close to the subway but far enough from the crazy Kabukicho riff raff. It’s comfortable and clean and they have wonderful service and amenities especially the free beauty products for ladies. It’s little touches like that. The breakfast is also free and it’s good. The only drawback is that everyone knows how awesome and affordable this place is so it’s getting crowded. We tried to stay here again in February 2020 but it was sold out. We stayed in another nearby budget hotel and it was not as impressive. Super Hotel Kabukicho is a gem. I hope that they keep it updated and nice and clean.

Great area, it was very close to the centre of Shinjuku and close to lots of bars, restaurants and shopping. You pay a bit extra but it’s worth it for the location. It was small like most Japanese hotels but it was fine for one night and for one person.

We had a great stay at this hotel.Such a friendly and welcoming hotel with gifts awaiting on arrival. Our room was quite small but very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We had a small earthquake on our first day there. Breakfast with plentiful and lots of choice and constantly replenished. The hotel is only a short walk from Shinjuku Station and quite easy to find. Also an easy walk into the main area with pubs clubs and lots of lights!!! Tokyo is an eye opener and we loved every minute of it. On our last day the ladies ask to take a photo for Instagram and again you get a free gift. They waved us off at the door too.
They will also look after your cases for when you are ready to leave.
Would definitley stay here again.

This hotel is in a great location, and very clean. the room was a bit on the small side, but comfortable enough. I didn't have much interaction with the staff, but they seemed pleasant and helpful. The pillows provided are very stiff, and they claim to have different firmness available, but every time i asked, they had run out.
