Stayed here for 1 night. It was a clean, comfortable hotel and I would be happy to stay here again on my next visit.

Pros:
Location – very close to Ueno Station. Take the IRIYA exit and it’s a short 5 minute walk from there. There’s a convenience store (Lawson) that’s around the corner from the hotel to load up on any food/snacks/drinks.
The surrounding area doesn’t offer much, so if you want nightlife you’ll need to walk 10-15 minutes towards the south of Ueno Station/Ueno Park.
Reliable WIFI
Night staff – friendly and efficient
Luggage storage – they will hold your luggage after you check out while you go explore the city.
Free coffee available in lobby

Cons:
Noise – hotel faces a busy street so I began hearing cars around 5am. Be sure to bring earplugs.
AM staff – she didn’t seem to be the friendliest, maybe I caught her at a bad time.
Tight space – room was pretty confined and had no closet. Also, they didn’t seem to have a room to store any luggage so it was all left out in the lobby. There’s not much space if you want to sit down and relax.

Good acomodation near Ueno station. The staff understand English and the amenities was kawaai :). No need to buy breakfast package because there were so many restauran and convenient store (Family mart or 711). At Friday night, the street might be become "interesting" but nothing dangerous happening during our stay.

I needed somewhere to stay when I arrived in Japan and flew into Narita airport.
This hotel is at the end of the fast train service into Tokyo that finishes at Ueno station. It’s a short walk but easy to find.
The staff were expecting me and checked me in quickly. The room was tiny but perfectly formed with all mod cons.
Even better was the location in the morning, I was straight into Ueno Park and the museums and Sakura blossom trees. I even visited the zoo which was cheap but got to see Pandas which were amazing.
It’s well out of town but near the station so great for transport.

Very good location - close to Ueno Station, easy walking access. Rooms are big enough for one person, but for two with 2 pcs of luggage it is a challenge; but in Japan it is quite normal. Really nice breakfast. Only some members of the staff speak little English, but they are really friendly anyway!

I stayed here for 6 nights as I explored Tokyo and surrounding areas. The staff were friendly and helpful, although I got the impression my attempts to converse via my Japanese phrasebook when I accidentally locked myself out of my room weren't appreciated in the spirit in which I intended. The room was comfortable and street-facing rooms have a view of the Skytree! Wifi was reliable. It is a 5-10min walk from the main entry of JR Ueno station and the Ueno Tokyo Metro station (there is a side entrance to the JR station around the corner from the hotel) and there are 2 Family Marts and lots of cheap restaurants of various cuisines within that 10min hotel-station area.

This hotel is within easy walking distance of both the JR Ueno station as well as the Keisei Ueno station (we used the Keisei Skyliner to get to and from Narita Airport). It is also close to Ueno Onshi Park. My son and I shared a two-twin room. The room was small, which evidently is common in Tokyo, but very clean and very efficiently organized. They put Ikea to shame. Incredibly, in addition to the two beds, there was room for a TV, desk, chair, even a refrigerator (everything was scaled appropriately). There was just enough room for our backpacks. The bathroom is pod-like (which we were to find is also common in many small hotels and ryokans with private bathrooms). I also want to give a shout out to the front desk. We stayed here our first night in Tokyo, and were so pleased with the room that I booked it for our last two nights as well (we went on a tour in between). However, due to the floods in western Tokyo, we ended up getting stuck in Hiroshima and were unable to reach Tokyo until the day of our flight. The hotel staff graciously did not charge us for the cancelled reservations.

Room was smaller than i expected but comfortable enough for 2 people. We had a total of 2 big luggages and a couple more small bags between us and we did not have any major problems with packing. Bathroom could have been bigger but it was expected as this was the norm for tokyo based hotels. Location was a huge plus being about 10mins from the Airport Railway and 3 mins from the nearest exit of Ueno Station (Iriya Gate) for those who wishes to know.

Staff were friendly and speaks good English.

Would stay again if the opportunity arises.

We had a 1 day layover in Tokyo and needed a hotel for the night. Arrived in Narita, took the Keisei Limited Express to Ueno and found the hotel a couple blocks from the front of the station. At Narita we bought a 24 hour discount Metro pass for 800 yen to use for the day in the city. Came in the morning so they stored our luggage as check in is at 2:00 PM. We went sightseeing to Asakusa, Harajuku, Shibuya, and to an onsen in Sugamo. They moved our luggage to our room. Next day we had them store our luggage again as we had an afternoon flight out of Haneda. We went shopping in Ueno and came back picked up the luggage and took the JR to Shinagawa and then the Keiku line to Haneda. Easy with planning. Had a friend along that had not been to Tokyo so this was a quick 1 day tour.

Well within walking distance of Ueno Station, hotel is bright and clean. Room with an unblocked view. However, it is extremely small even for Japan standards. Buffet Breakfast is normal, on one side of first floor, opposite the check-in counter. Amazing how the food and tables can be squeezed into such a small space. OK for short stay. Will be claustrophobic for anything longer

I doubt it due to small space they have. There are rented lockers in Ueno station that might suit to your need
Answer from Nuchy Thidarat N
can i leave my luggage in this hotel overnights? I plan to stay in this hotel three nights and go to kawaguchiko two nights and come back again to Tokyo and stay for 5 nights.
