I've stayed in for 6 nights. The hotel's location is excellent, it is near to almost everywhere within Ueno. Walking distance to Keisei Skyliner, Ueno Okachimachi station, Ameyoko, Parco, Uniqlo/GU, Marui & etc, a min walk to Ueno-Hirokoji station. Drugs store & restaurants all around, you'll be spoilt by choices. The hotel staff does take note of my request when check-in, the corner double rooms are all facing the main road, they've put me to the highest floor to avoid the traffic light noise (thumbs up to the staff). The hotel provides face mask, cleansing oil, cleanser, toner, moisturiser for the ladies & men too, bath aroma soak, coffee & green tea. These items are placed at the reception lobby, it is so good that they do not stop you from taking it, I took the face mask 2 sheets per day for night & morning use, it saved my skin from the cold & dry winter. I will definitely come back again & recommend this hotel to friends.

Location The location of this hotel is fantastic, just about 5 minutes walk from the Okachimachi station. There are many shops and shopping centres near the hotel such as Uniqlo with its basement supermarket which allows us to indulge in strawberries every day. Cafe Lapin also serves very good breakfast with great coffee and it is only 5 minutes away. Popular cafes like Yamabe for tonkatsu and Toritsune Shizendo for oyakodon are also a short walk away. Ueno Park is also nearby. Ueno-Hiroji subway with its Ginza line is 1 minute away and Ueno-okachimachi station has the Oedo line passing through it.
Facilities By signing up as member and booking on hotel websites, one can get 500 Yen cashback for each night of stay by showing member's QR code. Check-in time for members is earlier at 2 pm. The beds are simmons beds with high quality duvets which provide very good sleep. For our twin room, we can move around more comfortably with sufficiently space for our luggages when we pushed the two beds together. The pyjamas provided is very comfortable with trouser and top in white. Face masks other toiletries, tea, coffee are provided in the lobby area. Breakfast is at 6.30 am and there are three choices.
We could leave our luggages when we did some overnight trips.

This hotel was great for me as a Western solo traveller.
The location can’t be beat. The room is cozy but very clean and has everything you need. I had a standard double room. It may be tight with 2 people but seems doable if you’re of average size. For a 3 star hotel, it is more than acceptable.
I do like that you can choose to have room cleaning or towel replacement without entry. Overall, I highly recommend.

We were absolute newbies to Japan, Tokyo, and the Sotetsu Hotel chain, but we found the booking, finding the hotel, and our stay a breeze. Checking in to the hotel was done at a computer kiosk. There were very friendly staff on hand to assist. We booked a standard double-bed room. It was small, but clean and all we needed for a 3- night stay. The amenity selection in the lobby provided us with many useful items, including instant tea and coffee pkgs., bath salts, and more. The bed was comfortable and the boxed breakfast was simple, but delicious. With a Sotetsu chain membership, you can earn points for a free night and even get some cash back when you check out. You even get an email for your birthday with an offer for a % off your next booking.
The walk from the Keisei Ueno train station was an easy 5 minute walk. The Keisei Ueno station and the JR Ueno station were very close together, so getting around Tokyo was convenient. Ueno Koen (park) has museums, a zoo, a lotus pond, and more. It is right by the Keisei station. There are at least two major combini (convenience stores) between the hotel and Ueno station. Ameyayokocho (Ameya Alley) is a vibrant shopping street in Ueno with restaurants, street food, pharmacies, with some clothing and souvenirs shops, too. We tried some spicy chicken in a cup. It was delicious! Note that cash is key in these types of shopping areas in Japan.

Hotel opened only about a month ago? Everything is still new. New room, new bathroom, new beds, and it was indeed good staying in a clean new place!
Location is about 9mins walk from Ueno main station but make sure to get out from the correct Shinobazu exit.
Less than 2 mins walk to Okachimachi subway, 5 mins walk to JR station.
Ueno Market is just across the street. Food is all around.
Coin operation washing machines / dryers as well as vending machines are available at the lobby.
Everything was pleasant, much as they were all polite and helpful, the front desk staff took long while to check us in and was told to get the room key card at the machine after.
Room is definitely on the small side (like typical Japanese hotel) but the amenities provided were adequate and high comfortable level made it all pleasant.

1. hotel location is very good , 5 mins by walk to Keisei Ueno station (京成上野駅) Skyliner airlines express, 30 seconds by walk to Metro Ginza line Ueno-hirokoji station (上野広小路駅) , 3 mints by walk to JR Yamanote Line Okachimachi station(上野駅) 2. Curtain of shower room is very dirthy and foul-smelling. It's terrible ! 3. Staff are very nice 4. The sound insulation of glass window is extremely bad. The sound of traffic lights next to hotel at night made me unable to sleep 5. Stains are found both at wall paper of the room and the quilts. It's terrible ! 6. the hotel information Pad was suddenly turned on bright during mid-night that disturb for sleeping.

This hotel is located very close to subway (Ueno-Hirokoji station) and a big JR station (Ueno). Also, it close to Keisei-Ueno station, which you could have a skyliner train directly from Narita Airport. So the location is 10/10.
The hotel room is clean. The room size is relatively small but it is as usual at this size in Tokyo.
There are 3 or 4 convenience store nearby and 24 hours shopping mall (Donqihote) within 5 minutes walk.
You can easily find a food in this area include late night meal. There are 2 famous ramen shop nearby. First one is Ichiran at Ueno station and second is Ippudo.
The hotel staff are really nice and friendly. This hotel provide you a coin laundry with cheap price (500 JPY for 3Kg).
I'd love to return here if I'll visit Tokyo again.

This business hotel has adequate facilities for the price, but I guess because it’s more of a budget hotel, the clerks who work at the reception desk will not help tourists to make restaurant reservations, or answer similar-type questions. When I inquired about concierge-type service for such assistance, the two girls laughed and said in Japanese (I had enough to understand some of what they were saying) that they’d never heard of such a thing, etc. Not the polite behavior one usually expects in Japan. Too bad. It’s probably worth it to spend a little more for a nicer hotel with better service (or if you speak enough Japanese, no problem).

Convenient location served by three subways with plenty of food outlets, convenient stores, PARCO Departmental store... 5minutes walk to Ueno Park where you can enjoy the Sakura or Hanami. Room is small like most Tokyo hotels but still enough to accomodate two adults.

It is very convenient to access anywhere of Tokyo. Ueno park is one of the most famous spots for watching cherry blossoms. Unfortunately, the season of Hanami is already finished. However, the Ueno-Park also have some interesting museums. Especially, ”The National Museum of Western Art” is good one to visit. It was chosen as a World Heritage Site in 2016.
