Very nice hotel and very well located close to the metro and JR stations. Not even 5 minutes from the lively Akihabara district. Despite everything in a quiet street with very good sound insulation.
Hearty breakfast with lots of (local) salty foods.

Very small room we constantly have to pass over suitcases which sometimes makes things complicated but that's how it is in most hotels in Japan.

Friendly staff. Drinks with or without alcohol offered at certain times at the end of the day.

My partner and I stayed here earlier this year for a night.
Great location, super nice staff, clean room and great breakfast.
Would 100% recommend staying here.
Only slightly negative was that checkin is not until 3pm and you cannot get into your room any earlier than that. BUT we were aware of this beforehand.
Still would stay here again!

The Good
Staff are wonderful. Very polite, friendly, multi-language and smiling. Breakfast staff are also energetic and thats all to ask for. Breakfast were okay. As a matter of fact, I would even say great for "free" breakfast with that quality.

The Bad
I believe this is more of their Housekeeping issue alone.
There was a trash next to trashcan. Meaning, they probably were hurrying to empty trash and not double checked.

It was around 10am... 11am I am not sure.
Almost all doors are open on the floor were I stayed without presence of any staff.
Few of them are STAYING GUESTS. Meaning, if I am a theft, I could have go in and just take whatever I want to then walk out like no one's business.

Even if not, I had all the time I needed to simply look into other guests privacy. (not that I did) So, I imagned if my room were opened like that when I am out, I thought it be very shocking. Yes, there are cameras and it's quite obvious no one would come and just steal or look into other guests room but... that's not the point right?

Another bad was the room.
So hard to keep things, they had nice bed but just hard to find a spot to simply put things. I basically had to mix my worn dirty clothe with clean clothes piled up. etc.etc.

I was lucky to stayed with very budgeted deal.
But if you pay normal rate, I doubt it.

I've subtracted two star but added one star back in due to the location.
Very nice location to enjoy both UENO and Akihabara.

The hotel was newly opened at April 2015. Located 3 minutes away from Suehiro-cho Station (G14) of Ginza Line, or 8-minute walk from JR Akihabara Station, you can easily access to every famous spots and shopping areas of Tokyo using the metro network.
There are lots of local fast food restaurants (with most of them operating 24 hours) surrounding the hotel and you have no problem of finding food. You can also walk 7 minutes to Yodobashi Camera Akiba for better choices of restaurants. Also convenience stores are located just around the corner.
Check-in was smooth for my party as I understand Japanese. There was another group of foreigners checking in at the same time, but English level of the front desk has to be improved, in my opinion, as I saw there was difficulties of communication between the parties.
Password is used for room security, and it is given when you check in. It is necessary to keep it well as it is also used to enter the hotel after mid-night. I have stayed in their Super Room with a twin-over-full bunk bed for a maximum occupancy of 3 people, which is good for family with one child. Rooms are small as for Tokyo standard, but the good point is that everything was clean. You can select your favorite pillow according to your preference of height and hardness, which is also a plus.
Like most of the Super Hotel, public bath is provided in the hotel. However, there is only one bath, where men are allowed to use during evening, and slots for afternoon and morning are reserved for women.
As a reminder, the front-desk of the hotel is closed after 00:00 mid-night, and you cannot check in after that.

The best hotel experience when I visited Japan for the first time. Not too far to walk to the Akihabara station for your source of transportation to go anywhere by train. Across the street is 7-Eleven for your convenient needs as well as for any international traveler who needs to withdraw some money, then use their ATM. Front desk are courteous and friendly and willing to help you out! Breakfast is included, it's not much for others but I loved it! House cleaning starts at 10:00AM to 3:00PM but if you want to rest and relax all day, make sure you use the magnet sticker and slap it on the front of your door and even to make sure, kindly let them know beforehand. There is only one elevator, so you need to be patient on getting to the floor of where you room is. Second floor is where laundry room, vending machines full of beverages, hot or cold, and onsen which is a public hot bath. Pay attention to the times for the onsen, the schedule for men and then for women. They should give you a pamphlet when you check-in and the schedule will be there but they will also guide you some information about it anyways. They provide amenities for your needs and also provide some interesting neat pillows for you to choose from. The hotel room I booked for was a two connecting rooms (adjacent rooms) with double beds attached with a bunk bed. Quite spacious and very clean. Flat screen HDTV, hot water pot with green tea packets for some hot beverage, air conditioner is great as well as the humidifier. Wifi is free and the connection speed is unexpectedly good. I like the security code input to get in to your room, makes me feel safe. Overall, comfortable rooms and I would love to book again at this hotel in the future!

Travelled with my partner and stayed for a two-week holiday in Tokyo. I'm used to small rooms in Tokyo being the standard, so I was unsurprised that the room was very small - you can just about fit two large suitcases in there - but I still can't really fault it. The location is literally a stone's throw from Akihbara main street so good connections to Yamanote train line, they provide you with all the amenities you need (extra if you're a lady :) ), very clean, and the staff were always friendly and smiling. The bath at the top of the hotel is a nice touch too, left my skin feeling lovely and soft. Getting breakfast included was a good touch as well! I'm pretty sure I ate their scrambled eggs every morning because it was so good...

Overall if you're just looking for a base for your Tokyo travels and don't plan on spending much time in your room, it's a great place for the location and hospitality!

I came in to Haneda airport on this trip, so getting to this hotel was pretty simple (took the monorail to Hamamatsucho and then the Yamanote line to Okachimachi). I don't recommend trying to go to the nearest station Suehirocho if you have any luggage -- there are no escalators, and I couldn't find any elevators, either. You're pretty much limited to Okachimachi or Akihabara station then, and neither one is terribly hard to get to or from, so that's fine.
The hotel itself is not the easiest to find, so look on a map before you go. Once you know what to look for, it's not too bad. The location is really pretty amazing. I work in a tech industry, so being near Akihabara helped me with picking up some parts that I needed for work on short notice. I also needed to take the Tsukuba Express line, which terminates at Akihabara. Honestly, anywhere on the Yamanote line is bound to be relatively convenient for traveling around Tokyo, but if you've got a reason to go to Akihabara (either business or pleasure), this hotel is a good one to consider.
When I first got into the room, I was surprised by the rather unorthodox layout of it -- in most business hotels in Japan, you can imagine that the room is basically a rectangle, with one corner walled off for the bathroom. Typically, the bed rests up against the bathroom wall and goes the rest of the length of the room. But in this case, the hotel room was wide and not as long, and therefore there's just a narrow area with a desk and fridge off to the side, and the bed is pretty much right after the entrance to the room. To be honest, this works just fine, but it was a bit of a shock when I first went in. I had no problems with the room (except for finding a good place for my luggage, which was rather large).
Super Hotel always includes breakfast, and I knew basically what to expect here, but I was surprised that the choices on offer seemed more limited than those at other Super Hotels I've stayed at. I have some limitations in my diet, and I did OK with the breakfasts, but some days were definitely better than others.
The staff was great, and many of them spoke English, Japanese and Chinese (Mandarin?). I speak Japanese, but their English was very good at this one (far better than most in the chain), and I expect that's really because of the more touristy location of the hotel.
In short, this is a hotel I wouldn't hesitate to recommend -- it was conveniently located, reasonably priced, and made my trip a very easy one.

Yes the rooms are small but you really only need it to sleep in. The staff are helpful and the breakfast is pretty good but small eating area. It's in a fantastic location close to everything from food to markets.

Our family of 5 stayed here for 4 nights in adjoining rooms (3 teenagers). Small rooms, but adequate if you are sightseeing and really only sleeping there. Very clean. Rooms serviced daily. Excellent breakfast, and great little onsen. Laundry facilities also good. The mattresses and pillows are a little bit hard, but they do have a pillow bar, so you can choose a softer pillow. The hotel is in a great location. Approx 10min walk to Akihabara Station and right on the JR Yamanote line. Super easy for getting to other popular sightseeing areas in Tokyo. Two stops to Tokyo Station. Lots of shops and restaurants. Right near Electric Town. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Stayed here for two nights with my wife. Room is small, but there is room for a desk and chair. Bathroom is also a bit small but the shower is very good and includes amenities. Bed was comfortable. No English TV channels if that matters to you. Breakfast was very good - especially the croissants. Also decent coffee which was appreciated. Selection of pillows at reception is a nice touch - love the firm ones! Very close to Akihabara and Ueno for some good shopping and markets. Very helpful staff.

Here's what I did, and it worked out nicely: - Take the monorail to Hamamatsucho station (the end of the line), then transfer to JR (Japan Rail). From there, take the Yamanote line (headed for Osaki) to Okachimachi station. Exit on the west side, then head south (make a left when you leave the station), and you'll be on a narrow street with not much on it that follows the train line. After walking a few minutes (past the first traffic light), you'll see a sign that says AKI-OKA (I think it's short for Akihabara-Okachimachi?) with some random looking numbers and a letter or something, as I recall. Make a right down the nearest street to that, and then go a couple of streets, and you'll see it if you look to your left. I seem to recall that doing that takes you very close to the hotel. The sign is very yellow with blue lettering. That's probably the easiest way, and likely one of the cheapest as well.

I do speak Japanese, but the staff here spoke very good English, so I wouldn't expect much trouble. Credit cards are accepted at the vast majority of hotels in Japan (they're one of the few places you can be relatively sure that they'll take cards). I know this is an old question, but seems like something that a lot of people might be wondering about. (Just to be clear, I paid by card when I stayed here.)
