Detailed Reviews
The Newly constructed hotel, sparkly cleaned and sophisticated. 30 second walk from Asakusa station.
This hotel is opened on 8th October 2020, so you can experience staying in very new and sophisticated room.
This hotel is located only 30 seconds walk (just need to cross one road!)from Asakusa station. If you have many luggage and unfortunately have a rain, there is no problem.
The room has over 5 outlets so you can charge all your devices even if you have many.
From the window of rooms, you can see Tokyo Sky Tree area or the center of Tokyo including Asakusa heritage area. The night view of Tokyo is particularly amazing.
To avoid Covid-19, there are enough countermeasures such as auto check out.
Stuff is really kind and nice. They are always helpful if you have a trouble. I had a super important business when I visit here, they lend me a steam iron all the night so I could take care my clothes deeply.
Visit here especially when you have a business trip, but you can also spend quality of time with your family including kids.
You can also experience the greatness of Old Tokyo style meal at the restaurant in 3rd floor and visit heritages at Asakusa AERA and Tokyo Sky Tree near here easily during your stay.

The hotel is quite modern, and the service is quite good and helpful. Our room rate does not include breakfast, and it costs about 2,200 yens for each person after a 15% discount for hotel guests. The buffet breakfast is quite good with both Japanese and Western choices. The hotel also has washer/dryer available for guest use. It is washer/dryer combined, and I always ended up putting more money in for extra drying. One feature I like about the machine is that it allows the users to input a pass code so no one can open the door to the machine and put your clothes out before you can get to them.
We have 3 people in the room, and it is quite clammed. The suitcases occupied most of the area available after the 3 beds, and there is no chair to sit after that, so it is uncomfortable if you want to use your laptop or to do some work. However, the beds and the comforters are comfortable.
The toilet is separated from the bathtub/shower area. The shower area is right next to the tub and is very spacious and comfortable. I like it very much.
The hotel is located near the Asakusa Station which accommodates certain subways and train lines, but not others. It can be confusing, and not as convenient to others. It is very close to the Asakusa Temple and the Tokyo Sky Tree is walkable if it is not too hot or cold.

I loved this room! It’s expensive but for a one- night treat it was fab! This room was Hello Kitty heaven: pink toilet paper, wallpaper and decor, bedding, even the kettle! Pity the cups and coasters weren’t though. The room was a great size with 4 large beds and a table with four chairs which could make it more affordable for a family or group of friends. There were even Hello Kitty slippers and we were given a lovely gift bag of Hello Kitty goodies upon check-in ( which we were allowed to do really early). It is in a great location, right into the district and round the corner from the Senso-Ji temple and Nakamise shopping street. It was a two minute walk from the station and at night, the walk along the river was nice with a great view of the Skytree. My only gripes were that there were no teaspoons in the room or soap in the small cloakroom sink. There was no view from the window so keep the blind closed.

Basically my rating for this hotel is standard. Quite costly, but very small rooms. For a triple bed room, they simply unfold a sofa bed, making us have no more room to move around. And the worst part is there is no cupboard. All hangers for clothing are mounted to the wall. Breakfast is the worst. Staying there for 5 nights with so little selection of food is nightmare. And everyday they served almost the same food! But the good part of this hotel is that it is a very convenient hotel, walking distance to everywhere. To MRT station or the asakusa street market. Overall, it is ok but they should improve to be better.

Really enjoyed our stay here. My daughter and I found it to be a very comfortable stay.
The check-in process was a breeze since we had paid ahead online ~5 min.
I was very happy with the location. Directly across the street is Asakusa Station, Ginza line.
Would definitely stay again.
Laundry is available on sight. Machines are great because they wash and dry in the same machine and add detergent on their own- no need to bring your own. You also add a 4 digit code to lock it until you return to retrieve your clothing.

Love this hotel. Room had enough space for 1 adult and 2 kids (9 and 13) plus 3 big luggages and 2 carryons. We set it up so we only needed to open the smaller luggages and the other big ones were just in between the window and bed. You can always put luggages on top of the bed to open if needed. The room is clean. The hotel is very close to subway Ginza and Asakusa stations. Asakusa has a direct line to Haneda and Narita Airport (no changing trains). The elevator to subway is about a 5-7 min walk from the hotel. Taxis are usually available across the street due to the train station. Sensoji Temple is so close, Skytree is walkable but you can also take subway. Close to good restaurants. Would recommend to family and friends and will stay here again.

We stayed here for 1 night before we left for Seattle. Prices were quite cheap (about $170 per night) so I didn't expect the biggest room. We wanted to stay in this location and it was only 1 night so we were fine with whatever we got. The room was very small; if you want to pack your suitcase, the best way is to put it on the bed, otherwise you can't move around the room easily. Even with the suitcases closed, they took up most of the walkway to the door. The beds are also way too firm for my liking.
As I said, the reason for this hotel was mainly for its location. It is close to Kappabashi kitchen street (we bought some knives), Skytree, Nakamise street and subway/train stations. There are also plenty of convenient stores (Lawson's, 7-11 etc) within walking distance. We were mainly here to shop so this was the perfect hotel for that.
Heading to the Haneda Airport was a real hassle though. This was a last minute trip and we had 3 suitcases and 1 carry on we had to get on the direct subway to the airport. I was considering taking the bus from Skytree but my son said we could handle the subway. The subway was about a 7 minutes walk away which was fine dragging the luggage. However, to get down to the trains, you have to go down about 4 flights of stairs, up 1 flight, before you get to an elevator. Our suitcases were heavy (we had come from Singapore and again, this stop was last minute or I would have not brought this much luggage) so my son had to drag one at a time down the stairs, leave it there, come up to get another etc. This is with a lot of people walking up and down the same stairs. It was a slow and painful (for him) process. Its a good thing he is a strong young man. As soon as we got onto the train though, everything was smooth.
We probably won't stay in this area next time, but I would recommend Tobu Hotel for stay in the Asakusa area. As long as you don't have too much heavy luggage.

Right across Tobu Asakusa Station with a few subway entrance around the hotel to Ginza Line. A lot of restaurants and shops close to the hotel, and less than 10 minutes walk from the bustling Senso-ji temple and Nakamise Shopping Street. Staffs are very friendly and efficient. The room is very spacious for Tokyo and even comes with separated shower and toilet. Beddings are a little bit hard but we had excellent sleep thanks to very good air conditioning and heaters. One of the best feature is the laundry monitoring system through TV. This hotel is very high on my list for my next visit in Tokyo

Pros
1. Location perfect. Tons of eateries and convenient store around. Train station just 2-3 mins away.
2. Room is cleaned and relatively new.
3. Most of the staff are friendly. Why I said most? Coz there is a none local Jap male staff wasn't
4. My room views was perfect
5. I love the bathroom concept.
Cons
1. Not sure if there is a hospital nearby, very frequently you can hear some sirens sound. It is quite annoying and noisy to be honest
2. There is a free coffee for hotel guest at L3 but we wasn't being inform during the 4 days stay. Only when we check out what's to offer at L3 restaurant, then only found out.
3. By default, there is 2 towels given. But every time after housekeeping, they will take all towels but only replace with 2 even we have 3 towels.
4. To be honest, there is no space to walk once the large (27") luggage open up.
5. Due to it's good location, there is alot of eateries nearby. But that also means you will very often "flooded" with those cooking smells even i'm at the top floor
Will I return, very high chance yes but next time I'll book a bigger room

Room Tip: After recent experience, Personally will not want to have Skytree view as it is quite noisy.

Asakusa Tobu Hotel is my favourite hotel in our recent japan trip where we stay in 7 hotels over a period of 10 days.
In terms of location, it is 1 min walk to the ginza mrt line and 5 mins walk to the Asakusa line. Sensoji temple is only 5 mins walk away and there are lots of restaurants.
The hotel is newly built in the last few years. Condition is well maintained. We stayed in a large room with 3 beds. From our window, we can see the Tokyo skytree clearly.
I will strongly recommend this hotel.

They are located on floors 4 to 14.
Some rooms face the Sky Tree, but we cannot guarantee this on request, as rooms are decided on the basis of cleaning and availability on the day.
