I just spent 5 nights in a single room at their main building. I love the location and how it is close to everything in Asakusa. The room was soundproofed so I didn't get the street noise. The housekeeping was done by lovely elderly ladies who leave a bag of neatly folded towels and pyjamas at your door if you have a 'do not disturb' sign out.

I didn't sleep very well as the duvet was a little dirty. They use a main duvet and line it with a bedsheet on its underside which means they don't wash the duvet and change only the sheet during room service. I found dust and hairs on the duvet so I requested for extra sheets to put between myself and the duvet. The management should seriously reconsider their bedding, especially for guests who are allergic/sensitive to dust.

The front desk staff were helpful enough. Oddly, they refused my request to make a table reservation for a restaurant. I approached 2 staff members and they were adamant about not providing this service to guests. Finally, after much persuasion, I managed to get a lady to very reluctantly make a call to the restaurant. It was a very strange policy.

I wish to thank a front desk staff - a young, bespectacled man- who assisted me in booking a taxi on 28 Jan, around 10:45pm and very very kindly took the trouble to take my luggage out in the pouring rain for the taxi.

Overall, my one and only complaint is the bedding. Otherwise, I had a good experience and the location can't be beat.

This hotel is about a 7-minute walk from Asakusa Station.
The basic parts of the hotel are old, but it is fairly clean and there is a convenience store directly connected to it.
I went to the front desk on the first floor to check in...the front desk staff were generally nice.
I was given a card key and breakfast voucher and headed to my room.
The room was of normal size, with normal bathroom and toilet, normal amenities and in-room facilities, and disposable slippers.
The bed was normal, the nightgown was a robe, and the pillow was generally good.
The main building has a large public bath for men only (normal hot water, cold bath, jet bath, sauna), and after the bath you can enjoy free sencha tea, water, and sports drinks.
For breakfast, you can choose from 5 different menu items at Gusto on the 2nd floor.
I think the food was normal.
It was a convenient hotel with a large public bath.

Great location, value, cleanness, and friendly staff. The room is small but it has a bathroom and storage space. Air conditioning worked well. The hotel also offers free coffee, tea, and cold drinks at certain time blocks. For the price you pay I would say this is one of the best you could have. It is within walking distance from subway station. We stayed for three nights. No complains. Well, I do have a thing to complain. I could not make the TV remote to work so I have never be able to watch TV. The remote control seems quite complicated or didn't work out easily for me.

We found this hotel through a Japanese website that had good reviews. We were not disappointed.

It is located near a subway station. We stayed in a large room with 2 double beds, which is large for a Tokyo hotel. The price was also very reasonable (~C$90 for the room).

The bathroom was small but clean and efficient, but this is standard for a Tokyo hotel.

It is in the Asakusa part of Tokyo near the famous Asakusa temple (Senso-ji). Our friends also stayed here and used the modem (provided by hotel) in their room with no problem. I used the free wireless in their lobby (my pocket computer to use Skype to call home), with no problems.

The receptionists were very friendly. They even stored our friends' baggage for a whole week (for free) until they returned to stay there (as they didn't want to travel with a lot of luggage through Japan). Furthermore, the staff at the front desk spoke English which is hard to find in Tokyo.

I would stay here again if I return to Tokyo as it was good value for our money with easy access to subways.

A great Asakusa location, the hotel is located on the same street as the Kanimarimon gate of the Asakusa Kanon Temple. It was booked for us by friends who live in Tokyo.

The "special room" we rented had two double beds and an area with a tatami floor. The floor could be used as a small meeting space, or mats can be spread out. This gave the room a "royakan" feel. The children or parents can sleep in this area. The room has a spaciousness unexpected in Tokyo.

The standard rooms look western style, but I did not stay in them so I cannot say much about them.

There is Chinese restaurant on the second floor for breakfast serving chinese/japanese style breakfast.. If you crave a western style breakfasts, that is not a problem as there are western style restaurants in short walking distance.

I would have given the hotel an above average rating, but for two problems. One, the air conditioning was very poor. Two, despite advertising fast internet, we could not get our laptop working with the hotel supplied modem. The modem had to be hooked to the phone, which was located by the bed and not the desk. We tried two modems andthen gave up. I had to connect with the wireless in the lobby.

Overall, if you are a family looking for a room in Tokyo, with a somewhat reasonable rate, this might be the place for you.

We stayed here at thebeginning of our trip to Japan so were pleased to be in a hotel where the staff were so helpful. We found it easy to navigate from here to other places in Tokyo - a short walk to the Asakusa Kaminarimon Gate and the water bus landing stage. Good places to eat in some of the lanes behind here too.

Thank you very much for using it. The hotel is located in the center of Asakusa, a few minutes on foot from Asakusa Station and Kaminarimon, so it is very useful as a base for business and sightseeing in Tokyo. Also, on the 1st floor of the main building, there is a convenience store "Family Mart", on the 2nd floor a family restaurant "Gust", so it's very convenient for a bit of shopping and dining. We are pleased if you can use again when coming to Tokyo. We are waiting for another visit.

This hotel is well situated as it is close to very good restaurants and cafes as well as temples and the Gina line train. It is nearby to street eating venues and diverse shopping areas. However the hotel has two buildings which offer very different levels of accommodation. The main building is the lower end of what you might expect in a 3 Star hotel and room size is good for a city like Tokyo but the annex at the back is awful. The room I had was very small, the carpets were very stained both in the room and along the hallway. It was very tired and grimy and the bathroom’ pod’ had smelly drains. There was however, a plentiful supply of hot water and good range of toiletries available. Breakfast in their cafe was pretty boring and not great quality. Cofffe was abysmal.

Very great location in Asakusa, near the Kaminarimon, Orange Street, supermarket, and station (all 3 station that surrounding Asakusa with distance range from 450-600 meter). There are 2 buildings of Asakusa Central Hotel, the first one is the more grand building or the front one, and the second is in the back alley and has no access for baby stroller or wheelchair. So i must lift my baby stroller when in or out of the hotel, luckily the stairs is only few, but still... they should have made the slope for the access. Oh yeah, i talk this to the staff and for that their sorry and offer help to lift the baby stroller whenever i'm out or in the hotel.

The room is not too small, but the bathroom is. The self laundry service is located in the 3rd floor of the main building.

Room with a good level of comfort and a fridge to have milk or cold beer. All employees I met where very friendly and good attitude to help.
