Detailed Reviews
Stayed for 11 nights with my daughter. Hotel was in a great location, close to Sensoji Temple and Asakusa shops. Skytree view room. Skytree was about a 20 min walk away. There are 3 train stations within a 5 minute walk. Close to 7-11, Lawsons and Family Mart. Staff were friendly and helpful, and will store your luggage. Cleaning staff were friendly and very efficient.

We stayed in a double room, the room is very clean. The room is very small and we couldn't upgrade to a larger room due the national holiday. We ended having to leave our luggage along the hallway because there is no closet. The bathroom is fine; but, the shower and sink area is very small. In hindsight, I would conduct more research and get a bigger room. However, the hotel location is great - less than a block from a 24 hrs grocery store and lots of restaurants close by.

Since it was our first time in Japan, we really make sure that our hotel will make us feel so comfortable that's why we chose this red planet. Rooms are very relaxing plus the view from our room really amazed us. They have a complete set for a hotel room and were really impressed. Staffs are kind and very helpful. Since it was our first trip in Japan, we tried their cuisines in this hotel and it was superb delicious. Our stay here for 3 nights was really satisfying. Hope to come back in Tokyo!

Myself and my family stayed in the red planet hotel for 3 nights at the beginning of February. We were visiting Tokyo for my brothers wedding but also took the opportunity to see some sights. The hotel was perfect for what we wanted, just a bed to sleep in at night. The rooms, as with most places in Japan, are very small but every inch of space has been used efficiently. I had a huge double bed to myself which was extremely comfortable, with clean bedding every day I stayed there. You cannot fault the cleanliness of the entire hotel, it looks brand new. The rooms also come with a large flat screen tv, mounted on the wall in front of the bed. It has all the usual amenities; hair dryer, kettle, fridge, tea and coffee, laundry bags, safe, luggage stand, plus a usb socket in the wall above the bed side table which is extremely useful if you only have one international plug but more than one device to charge, a nice little touch I thought! The bathroom is again very small but has everything you need, a warm, powerful shower, which had 2 options, power shower or rain shower, again a lovely little touch. The toilet is, as became the norm to us in Tokyo, heated, musical, bee-day, everything you could want from a toilet! The hotel is situated in a great location for the metro line, about a 5 minute walk from the nearest station (I can't remember the name of it!) and about 10 minute walk from the larger station at Asakusa. There is a family Mart just over the road so any supplies you would need in your room can be bought there and stored in the fridge, we did this a couple of days when we fancied a quick breakfast. The hotel does have a restaurant but we didn't eat there so I can't comment on what it was like. Overall we had a very pleasant stay at the red planet, it was comfortable, the location was good, the staff were so friendly and helpful, the only thing I would say it is a basic hotel, if you are looking for something spacious and grand this may not be for you. If you are travelling, need somewhere warm and clean just to get your head down then it most definitely is for you.

Yes, it is a small Japanese room but sufficient and efficient.
We stayed there during the typhoon Hagadis so we had to stay inside our room for an afternoon and evening which was nice. In our white pyjamas on the bed. The hotel did move a little in the storm. Exciting.
Great Japanese breakfast but for us not included (1000 yen). Centrally located to visit Asakusaās many highlights, restaurants, cafes and bars.
Next to the underground railway station and just 5 minutes from the Ginza subway line.

Stayed at Red Planet while in Tokyo. Really cosy rooms just comfortable enough for 2. There is a launderette on the 13th floor which was a plus for Us... But they however only has 2 washer and 2 dryers. Location of the hotel is good and it was easy getting around. The Hotel has an App that you can install and it comes with a chat function so you can just start a conversation with them and enquire about practically everything. Overall, our stay at the
