Detailed Reviews
We enjoyed two stays at this Hotel in December 2019 and again in January 2020. We have been travelling regularly to Tokyo for many years and this Hotel I must say was a pleasant experience all round and will become our regular stopover in Tokyo. Relatively new Hotel in a fantastic location right in the heart of Asakusa - rooms - you get what you pay for in terms of space. The corner room is highly recommended. The breakfast room here is well worth the investment or better still book your room with breakfast because it is absolutely excellent. Fantastic place highly recommended and we will be back again later this year.

Booked this hotel due to many not being available during NYE. It was a pretty good stay! Our room was small but there are bigger rooms available and the bathroom is the typical Japanese style (small) but still everything was clean, and service was good (especially for English speaking tourists). Best thing is the location just walking distance to heaps of food places, Senso-Ji Temple and the subway (4 mins to Akihabara!). Would recommend this if staying in Asakusa

We stayed here for our last night in Japan. Very comfortable and easy to walk around at night and find dinner. The temple is very interesting. In terms of our flight home the next morning the hotel does not offer a airport shuttle however the trip to the airport is a easy one hour journey (Subway 3 stops to Ueno, Airport Skyliner). Note JR Passes do not work on the Skyliner and you buy a separate relatively cheap one way ticket.

I like the Richmond Premier International Hotel in Asakusa mostly because of its clean rooms and location. The rooms are Japanese style but not as small as some of the other hotels in the area. They also have many of the little conveniences like a room safe, iron and ironing board, bathtub, and a mobile smartphone you can use locally. Staff is very professional, friendly and helpful. They have a very good breakfast buffet and several restaurants located on the 4th floor of the hotel.

+1
This was the best hotel out of the 5 placed I stayed while traveling in Japan. I booked a Deluxe Double, non-smoking for single use (room #821) which was wonderful; in addition to the comfortable bed, the room had a daybed w/cushions, an upholstered chair w a loose pillow, lots of lighting for reading anywhere in the room, and a large TV which had an English channel. The bathroom shower had great water pressure and temperature. It was conveniently located about 10 mins walk from the train & bus station, so it was easy to walk there but away from the commercial area surrounding the station. It was also near all the main tourist sites (Matsumoto Castle, shrines, Frog Street, etc.) I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Richmond Hotel Premier Asakusa International is a decent hotel near the Sensoji temple and near to local train stations (JR/Metro/Tsukuba Express). We got a nice view of the of the Sensoji temple and enjoyed the nearby locations of Asakusa. The room size is reasonable and break fast is normal. The front desk staff are helpful and friendly.

Loved this hotel and its fabulous location right in Asakusa close to the Sensoji Temple and Nakamise-Dori. The room had really comfy beds, good block out curtains, a view of the skytree, all in a good room size especially for Tokyo. There is free coffee available in the lobby all day. Lobby is on Level 5 of the building above a UniQlo store and a food mall. Vending machines, laundry and microwave rooms are located on alternate floors which was handy.

If you get the right room you have a great view to the city and tower. The larger rooms are spacious, well lit and can notice the ‘premier’ side of the Richmond brand but other smaller rooms are fairly standard. Staff works efficiently and hotel is in great location but room to room quality varies a lot

Being a Richmond Hotel Member, I am used to their certain level of no frills (but in a good way): centrally located, good value and very simple and clean rooms with everything you *need* - including facial amenities at request. The Richmond Hotel Premier Asakusa International was that and more. The view from our room was a picturesque, facing Sensoji and the Skytree. It was surprisingly spacious, especially for Tokyo.
The only issue I had was with a part of the service, which was probably an individual issue - one that I've already contacted them on and shouldn't really apply to other travelers. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

We usually stay here when we go to Japan lately, Asakusa is a great area close to Ueno where there is a shinkansen station. The hotel has lots of restaurants near by, located in the same building as great shops/food. The front staff are all very nice, professional and helpful. The rooms are good, comfortable big beds etc. Great breakfast too.

I would recommend calling. All rooms are western rooms at this hotel so don’t worry about that.
But make sure you get a room with 2 queen beds for 4 people.
I have a family of three and we had three singles in a very small room (normal in Japan).
I don't know but I do know there are a lot of parking areas nearby.
