Very good hotel.
Room small but with spaces distributed correctly to be able to leave suitcases.
Very comfortable bed and despite the room overlooking the main street, you could not hear the slightest noise.
Mini bar in the room. Phon of very good quality.
Washing machine and beverage machine on the 2nd floor.
If you decide to have your room cleaned every 3 days (daily towel change) they give you free drinks tokens.
Asakusabashi stop a three-minute walk, connecting to the main lines.
Asakusa and Akihabara very close on foot.
Very good breakfast

We have just had five nights here and found everything good ,
Only a small room which is typical of this type of hotel.
Very comfortable bed, slept well each night, we were on the fifth floor overlooking the Main Street but noise was never a problem.
The air conditioning worked well which was important as the weather is hot and humid this time of year.
The staff were great, no problems looking after our luggage before check in time and again after we had checked out on the final day.
We had a nice smorgasbord type breakfast each morning, enough to choose from.
The bathroom is small but not a problem as we never used it to shower or bath as we used the public bath/ Onsen at the hotel which was great, everything there that you need and the water is a lovely 42 degrees..
Free wifi worked well.
Rooms aren’t serviced everyday but we just put our towels in a bag outside the room and there were clean ones there when we got back, a good system.
Close to the train station and plenty of restaurants and convenience stores all around you.
Also only a few minutes walk from the Sumida River which is lovely to walk along on a lovely paved terrace.
Also only about 25 minutes walk to ASAKUSA, a must place to visit while your in the area to see the beautiful Shrine and temple complex.
We enjoy our stay , great position.

Very nice and pleasant stay, Route Inn Grand hotel has spacious public areas and rooms, for japannese standards, and offers complete breakfast buffet at a pleasant dinning area overlooking the hotel's patio. The hotel is conveniently located few minutes walk from a nearby train station.
It also offers hot bath at the ground floor and all inroom amenities.

The English-speaking staff were really helpful. Special thanks to Yen at the desk. From our street view but quiet room, #1401, we could see the Sky Tree and the Sumida River. Had no trouble sleeping on the comfortable bed. The air-conditioner worked, so did the small fridge and air purifier. It's necessary to read the hotel-provided printed instructions to make things work; that or use your Google translate on the remote controls. Provided were 2 kinds of slippers, and all the hygiene amenities one needs and then some. No safety deposit box. Tap water is potable. We did enjoy the onsen on the 2nd floor! The ice machine, laundry and vending machines are next to the onsen. The best part of the hotel is the great breakfast buffet that changed every morning! If you're coming from Narita Airport, I suggest you take the Keisei Skyliner all the way to Nippori, then take the JR Lines to Akihabara, on to Asakusabashi. Trust me, there's more walking if you disembark at Ueno, transfer to Metro lines: Ueno to Ueno-okachimachi, then to Kuramea, then to Asakusabashi. For folks with heavy luggage not using JR Lines: the elevator at Asakusabashi subway station is at exit A1. The closest to this hotel is exit A16, stairs only.

We travelled for two weeks across Japan. You always have to remember as a foreigner as we were coming from Canada but the rooms are always going to be a lot smaller than what we are used to. There is usually a choice of two single beds or a double. Choosing the single bed seems to be a bit more spacious than a double Especially as a couple. Sometimes it was cheaper for us to choose triple rooms for some reason. In this case, we chose two single beds. Hotel lobby was very nice and the staff was very friendly. At the front desk all the amenities that you need such as toothbrush, hair comb, shaving cream, all that kind of stuff is there for your taking and your use. Our room is smoke-free however, to get to our room we did have to pass the smoking section which was a terrible smell. That would be the only downfall about the entire place. It was spacious and larger than any of the rooms we had in the past. It was within walking distance to the station. From the station it was a very very short, two or three stops right to Tokyo or any of the main attractions. I would definitely recommend staying here and I would stay here again. I don’t know if there was a breakfast option, but we did not choose it for this particular hotel.

A very pleasant 5 night stay in this hotel. The rooms are comfortable with TV, mini fridge, great air con and lovely toiletries in the bathroom. The hotel staff were lovely and accommodating, especially when my husband ordered packages to the hotel from Amazon.
The hotel is just a few moments walk from the subway which is very convenient. There are some nice little shops and restaurants down the street.
Please consider buying a couple of souvenirs from the man with the little shop a few doors down, he was lovely.
Would definitely stay here again in the future.

Convenient location near train station and many restaurants around. The hotel is clean and the staff are pleasant but must learn more english. The bedroom is not big enough for two people but manageable. The beds are very stiff and if you like softer mattress then you will suffer. Staying one night is ok but staying a week I would suggest finding a hotel with softer mattress.

This hotel was such a highlight. It is a little far from typical tourist attractions, but it’s close to a train station, though it’s really nice to just walk around the area. Lost of shops around. Though my favorite part was definitely the on-site onsen! I really recommend giving that a try. The room was bigger compared to other hotels in Tokyo we tried, and the bed was spacious and quite nice! The staff was really sweet and had iced teas and coffee in the lobby.

This is slightly out of the touristy areas. Good value, super clean and best part comes with free bath. Service is good, the staff manages to communicate easily. Love walking in the neighbourhood, you see real locals going about their daily affair. 2 min walk to train and quiet despite being on a main road. Good location to visit many places.
