MONday Apart Asakusabashi Akihabara hotel is well-regarded for its clean, modern atmosphere and notably spacious rooms, making it a cozy retreat for guests. Its prime location near Akihabara station is a highlight for many, offering easy access to Tokyo's shopping and dining. The hotel's staff receives accolades for their friendliness and helpfulness, and the array of in-room amenities, including kitchenettes and laundry facilities, is particularly popular among families and those on extended stays. While value is appreciated, some note the cost of late checkouts.

This was our first stay in Japan and we chose this property due to its location and self catering facilities for our 6 night stay.
It’s a short walk to Akihabara station and the main JR line and here you will also find plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. None of the major attractions and other areas of Tokyo are more than a 30 minute journey away. There are several supermarkets close by (Life is highly recommended) and the facilities in the rooms are superb. Although the rooms are small, we had all the facilities we needed for our family of 3 with a bunk bed for our son. The kitchen has a microwave and hob with full utensils, crockery and cutlery. The bathroom is large enough and we made use also of the washer/dryer machine with laundry detergent provided. If you stay longer than 3 nights your room gets serviced too. The rates are very reasonable too. We really enjoyed staying here and would highly recommend it, especially for families.

Check in was great. Fast and easy. One recommendation would be to have the air condition on in the room before the guests arrive. It sure was hot and took a while to cool down once we go to the room. One positive is they have free laundry detergent which we needed since this was our midway stop on our long trip. Nice to be able to do clothes in the room. It was also spotless when we arrived.

My friends and I had a great holiday in a five-person room at "Monday Hotel" and wanted to share some great memories.

First, we were impressed by how spacious the hotel room felt. The layout of the quintuple room was perfect for traveling and gave us plenty of space to relax and rest. The comfort of the bed also allowed us to enjoy a good night's sleep every night.

Secondly, we would like to express our gratitude to the hotel staff for their warm service. They were always happy to answer our questions, provide thoughtful suggestions, and make sure our needs were met. This friendly and professional attitude added so much to our stay.

The location of the hotel was also a plus, giving us easy access to the city's main attractions and restaurants. We were able to easily explore the local culture and cuisine, and the surrounding area was quite quiet, allowing us to enjoy a peaceful break.

Finally, we would like to thank "Monday Hotel" for creating a comfortable environment and making us feel at home during our trip. This accommodation experience will become part of our wonderful memories. Thank you for providing us with such a great accommodation choice.

We booked here as it is close the Ueno/Akihabara area and the price was very reasonable. Check in was fast and room was well designed as it utilised most spaces - so seemed more spacious than it is. Came with a small kitchen and also washing machine which was very convenient for us with kids. Lots of amenities nearby (Family Mart, restaurants) - highly recommended!

Nice apartment stay near Akihabara. Small but functional room - tight squeeze for 2 adults and 2 teens, but the bunk beds make it doable. Really appreciated the in-room laundry and kitchenette. Its an apartment - not a hotel - so don't expect common use areas, room service, concierge, etc. There is a supermarket (similar to USA's Whole Foods) nearby, which was great for getting some small things like fruit for breakfast. The place is farther from Akihabara and Asakusabashi stations than we thought - we didn't think a 10-15 minute walk would seem like much, but after 5 days of using the trains to sightsee when you hop off the train and just want to be in the room - it was sure a bear. The 100 degree weather had something to do with that so you might have a different view when its a balmy 80 degrees. And speaking of 100 degrees, the in room AC is woefully inadequate - if you like sleeping in a cold room, this isn't your spot. The hallway AC unit on our floor wasn't working, but once the staff got it fixed, it worked much better than our in-room AC, so we left the door open for a bit to even things out, which helped. To say the beds are firm is a total understatement. The bunk beds were more comfortable than the main beds. The fee to extend checkout by an hour was astronomical (10k yen vs. 1000yen at other places we stayed), so we opted for the free luggage storage after checkout. The staff is super friendly and willing to help and the language barrier was easy to cross with google translate. If you're looking for a base to sightsee from, Monday Apartments is fantastic, but pick one closer to a train station. If you want quiet neighborhood vibe, this is a great spot.

The room can accommodate five to six people. It has a kitchen, a large dining table, a bathtub for taking a bath, and a sharp washer and dryer for daily laundry. It has a comfortable space and an excellent location. It is very suitable for family travelers to stay in Tokyo.

Very near to a big supermarket (good for family with young kids that still requires diapers) and convenience store. Vicinity is very quiet and peaceful. Location superb for those interested in Anime items as it’s within walking distance to Akihabara JR line and all the figurine shops. The JR line is also directly joined to Tokyo and Shibuya stations so it saves you alot of transferring time. Rooms are clean and all rooms also include a washing machine for you to do your own laundry for free (detergent also provided).

Monday Apart Asakubashi Akabahira looks newly renovated and it is very clean. The rooms are fully equipped with washer dryer and induction stove. The toilets are separated from the bath. The hotel staff are friendly and can converse in English. Rental of Nintendo switch is also free. Train station akihabara is about 400m 10mins slow walk. Will stay here again.

The hotel environment is very comfortable and clean, and the supplies are very complete, such as tableware, kitchenware, washing machines, etc. The light is very good, the curtains in the room can be adjusted to block light by yourself, so no light leaks when sleeping, and the bed is very large and comfortable. The air conditioning in the hotel is in place. It is convenient to wash clothes and dry them directly. There are hangers to use. The hotel staff is very enthusiastic and polite. We like it very much. The hotel is in a superior location and convenient transportation. It is very easy to walk to the hotel after getting off the JR. There is a Family Mart next door, which is convenient for buying daily necessities. There are many delicious foods a little further away. It is very convenient and you don’t have to walk too far. If there is a chance, I will strongly recommend this hotel to my relatives and friends who come to Kyoto, Japan.
