Stayed for 3D2N with family. Beautiful Room with a view of Disneysea. Spacious, clean, comfortable! I love every details of the hotel, from the reception area to the bathroom shampoo containers. All have Disney touch! My kids loved it! We also have easy access to Disneysea! I love this place more than Disneyland Hotel but staying on both hotels are recommended to complete the experience!

MiraCosta is the premium hotel offering for the Tokyo Disney Resort, located within DisneySea itself. Hotel guests enjoy a special entry/exit to the park, easily accessible from the hotel lobby, however this is not available if you are utilising "Happy 15" entry (early park entry for hotel guests), as this requires you to line up at a particular spot at the regular park entrance. If you plan on exiting and re-entering the park during the day, the special entrance is helpful. The hotel has a tuscan/Mediterranean theme throughout which is inline with the DisneySea Porto Paradiso area the hotel is connected to. There are no character rooms in the hotel, but there are Mickey elements throughout the decor. We stayed in the Capitano Mickey Superior Room which had a view of the Gondola area, watching the park staff tend to the park before opening was interesting! The room was a great size. If you are thinking of booking the Palazzo Patio Room be aware that the courtyard is not enclosed / private and is ground level, which isn't apparent from the limited images online. The Oceano buffet restaurant has a view of Porto Paradiso and the main stage, where you can see the performers rehearsing in the morning prior to park opening. In room services are available like dining and massage. In room dining includes a full tablecloth set up and pack away by staff (even for your 700 Yen french fries!). In room dining can also be ordered via the TV in multiple languages, and you can check-out this way too if needed. Airport shuttle (Narita and Haneda) is available, but cannot be booked in advance of your stay so make sure you purchase those tickets on check-in day so you get the departure time you need for your flights. One thing to note - the hotel is huge, and the hallways are long. I mean LONG. So if you need to be close to the elevator check with the hotel beforehand.

This hotel resort exceeded our expectations! First, the location--it is INSIDE DisneySea, so when you come out of the hotel, you can shop, dine, or take in the sights. As Disney resort guests, you also get early access into the park, which is a nice perk for those who want to avoid standing in line (at least for your first ride anyway). However, it is unlike the extra magical hours offered to Disney resort guests at WDW, when the park and ride access are limited to only resort guests. Here, your early entry only allows you to be in front of the wave of crowd gaining entry only a few minutes after you have entered the gates. Think of it as Priority 1 Boarding for your flights. This mad dash to the rides was actually amusing to watch from MiraCosta's Bella Vista restaurant's panoramic windows! The hotel staff was responsive and eager to help with any of our needs/requests. No long lines at the lobby's front desk, and we experienced no language/communication issues. We are accustomed to the Disney high quality service, but the Japanese work culture took it to another level at MiraCosta. The staff were meticulous and pleasant in everything they did. Even our 15 year old took notice--that's pretty amazing to be able to impress a 15 year old! Our hotel room was clean. It was on the Venetian side and provided us with a view of the gondola rides from our window. Space was just adequate. The bathroom was spacious. We are a family of 3, and we booked a room with 3 twins because we were unsure about the size of the double beds, and because it was the only room that appeared to be available when we finally were able to get online access. We had to grab SOMETHING before the website crashed again. Reserving the room online was very difficult and almost became a deal breaker. The website was always too busy and crashed when we tried. We even called the hotel directly from the US and we were told that we could only reserve through the hotel website. It finally occurred to my husband to log in to the reservation site when others in Asia would be asleep (3 am Japan local time), and his hunch worked! We look forward to returning soon to Tokyo Disney/DisneySea, and we hope to either stay again at Hotel MiraCosta, or maybe we will try the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel next time.

We've stayed in Hongkong Disney, Tokyo Disney and now Mira Costa. The convenience wins all, since it is right in the park. This super convenience sure comes at a price - a very premium one yet no complaints. It appears aloof at first with the less than welcoming service - somehow the staff at Tokyo Disneyland were warmer. We went through the mundane check in process, got our room and the amazing happens when they remember your kid's pj size and toiletries when you change rooms, the luggages from Tokyo Disneyland are transferred without a hitch. Loved the room and the decor in the room with the park view - was eyeing the ever popular piazza view room (you'd probably need lots of luck just to score that). Anyway fireworks in the park is as magical, only with so many people jostling too. Great breakfast at bella vista lounge - oceano is for those with time! We left behind a tub of balm and the ever amazing and accomodating concierge sent it back to me in my home country! GASPS. Well done mira costa team!

What an amazing experience it was to stay here. Granted, I am a HUGE Disney fanatic, but even that factored in, everyone would love to stay here. Pulling up to the property is impressive, but setting foot inside, you are simply transported. I really wanted one of those centrally located rooms that faced the park, but we ended up getting a Venice side room, which was still fantastic! Pro-tip, don't wait. Book immediately after they open up the rooms online. They go FAST. The ammenities were unlike any other hotel we've stayed in on property. The PJ's and the toiletry kits were a great touch! The customer service was right up there with Disney magic. I felt no language barrier, and when things got a little more complex, they would send a fluent English speaker to help... everyone always did their best! The immediate entry from hotel to park was clutch. For quick breaks, or just to rest for a couple hours, you can't beat that convenience! As much as I'd like to try the other hotels around Tokyo Disney Resort, I think I've been spoiled by MiraCosta. I'll be back for sure.
