I stayed here because most hotel was full this weekend. The condition of this hotel is ok. They have WiFi and laundry facility. The hotel is located at many good I can’t adjust room I can’t adjust room temperature and check out time is 10AM. I won’t stay here again.
Quite a nice hotel with clean and tidy rooms. Very convenient location with restaurants and nightlife. Clothes washer available with drying. Service was very good and my only compliant was my room was very hot at night and I enquirer about temperature control and was told not available 😩 tried to leave window open but traffic and noise to loud so I had 3 nights of bad sleep😩 this means I would not stay here again 😡
Although room was small by our standards, it was typical of hotels in Japan. Location was convenient, close to two good museums, the Science and Electricity museums. It is also walking distance to a lot of good stores. Wifi is available inside the rooms. Staff was eager to help especially when we needed directions, but their very little knowledge of English made communication difficult. Breakfast consisted of the same two choices every day, the Japanese and the American, so if you stay for three days or more, you'd wish there were more choices. Our stay in the hotel was not a bad experience, it gave us value for our money.
Stayed here for 3 nights at a japanese national holiday peak season. We found that the location was actually quite far from the underground station and it was difficult to get to the airport. It was a good 10 minutes walk from the busy district also. Apart from the odd location the decor was a bit aged and the bed mattress was just old and worn out; the pillows were flat and flappy. It was one of the worst hotel experience for us in Japan.
Arrived Nagoya at around 10pm and found that the hotel was not very near the subway, it was raining and I took a cab there from meitetsu station and it costs around 1,000yen. Everything is small size here - lobby, lift, door, room, bed, TV, washroom. The AC was not strong enough and the blanket was not soft enough. Hopefully it was just a quick stopover and check-out was done at 8am on following day.
Stayed for 4 nights in Oct -2015. Location is very convenient and hotel is as you would expect compared to price you pay. I paid little higher due to events happening in Nagoya. Breakfast is not a buffet so limited option as you get 2 option Japanese or Western. It's a plated breakfast so you cannot select and every morning is same food. It would be nice if hotel had a coffee machine or at least hot chocolate option. Restaurant is nice with good traditional layout. Wifi is free and has good connection and speed. Staff are very efficient can speaks enough English for you to check in and normal and basic things. Housekeeping is great as you would expect in any Nagoya budget hotels. Everything is walking distance and closer to Sakai area. Rooms are standard size as normal (small) but that's similar size in most budget places in Nagoya. Convenient store at the door step and lot of restaurant and coffee places just go out and explore. In all its a nice place in the heart of Nagoya downtown area. If you want good price, location and good service and if you not too fussy then it's a nice place. I won't hesitate to stay again. …
The hotel is relatively small, room is small but is equipped with all neccessities i.e. hair dryer, mini fridge, coffee /tea pot. However, it has limited storage and do not have cloth closet - just some hangers on the wall. I guess it is fine if you are staying for just a few days in Nagoya . The location is convenient enough, as it is just about 700 meters to the Sakae Subway station- about 10 minute walk. Getting to/from hotel is quite easy with Centair express bus from Chubu International Airport and then get off at Sakae, and walk to hotel. To go to airport, just walk to the Oasis Bus terminal, get on Bus stop number 9 to Chubu airport. ( take just about 50 minutes) There is also Lawson Minimart across the street which is good if you forget something and to buy some food. There is one small Japanese restuarant in the hotel but i did not try it. Snack vending machines are also available at the lobby. If you like to go out at night, it is convenient as Sakae is the center of night life in Nagoya, all are walking distance from hotels. Staff can not speak English very well but enough to understand tourist terms. For the price offered, i think it is worth considering staying here.…
We booked this hotel because it offered free parking and wifi. When we arrived, we were told that our very normally-sized car was too big for their parking lot. They gave us no alternatives, so we were forced to pay for parking in a parking garage elsewhere - this ended up costing us as much as the hotel room itself. For wifi, we were given an old-fashioned router to connect in our room, which did not work. We offered no help to resolve either of these major issues. I have never been so unhappy with a hotel stay.
