It was disappointing that there was some hair found in the bathroom and in the bed. I stayed at the time of pandemic so for the whole time I was anxious. Unlike other Japanese hotels, they checked me in an hour early when I arrived at the hotel for free which was nice. I had to have my head wonder if the cleaner persons are tired or not happy with the work and stuff which was unexpectedly disturbing. I like that the front stuff greet the guests every time they pass by.
Great hotel! The staff is welcoming and helpful . They allow luggage storage after check out . The hotel is quite near to the bus stop of Centrair Limousine (about 100 meters away) the bathroom is a bit spacious than typical Japan Hotels. Need to improve on Breakfast offering .
Richmond Hotel Nagoya Nayabashi is one of the scores of chain business hotels within a kilometer or so of Nagoya Station. It was a few dollars cheaper than most comparable chains while it was still a bit of a walk from the station. Being about halfway between Sakae district and Nagoya Station actually ended up being perfect keeping most places of interest within walking distance. Room was clean while the double bed was a bit small for two adults. Staff were efficient with check in and were friendly. WiFi worked well and it was a solid base for a Nagoya trip.
Japan’s hotel rooms are mostly small and not very friendly for guests of 3. However, this hotel is quite spacious for the 3 of us. We stayed here for 2 nights and we enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Room is clean and spacious for 3 people with 4 luggages. Location is just 1 stop away from Nagoya Train Station. Many shops and restaurants around. Breakfast options don’t have many varieties but overall is ok for us. Front desk people are very friendly and attentive.
Prior to the trip, we emailed the hotel to request for a room with river view as the only choice we had when reserving is room at building side. The kind staff arranged it for us. Location is perfect. Airport bus next door. Family Mart with seats for a quick meal next door. A building with supermarket, drug store, Donki and food court next door. Many restaurants nearby. It is a 15 mins walk to Nagoya Station, Sake, Osu. Room is clean and small but as expected. We move the chair/table and we can open our two big luggages when doing packing. There is no safe but that is fine. Staff is friendly and though they do not speak much English, they are willing to help. Generally a hotel worth staying.
Stayed here 5 nights on a bussiness trip. Very clean and well equipted room. Rather small as any japanees hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. They could even speaka little english. The location is perfect, walking distance to thousends of restaurants and shopping malls.
The room is very clean and the location is very close to the metro station however the male hotel staff are very stupid. First at all, he can't speak any English plus very rude and impolite to driver he don't allowed driver to stop the car in the hotel entrance... Breakfast are good but limit of choice...The rate a bit high for the weekend stay.
Room was a reasonable size, just nice for 2 medium luggages. Location wise, it is 3 bus stops to the Nagoya Station or 20 mins walk. When exiting the hotel front, towards the left is going towards Nagoya Station and to the right is Osu Kannon and Sakae. There's a nearby subway, Fushimi station, Higashiyama Line. No worry about food cos there are too many choices around the area. The airport bus stop is just outside of Family Mart next to Hilton Hotel.
Stayed here for few nights. Service was great. Staff were friendly. Check in and out was fast. Breakfast was ok at first but they serve the same everyday. No gym or pool. Location was great. Lots of nearby restaurants and convenient stores. A bit far from the train station.
We spent two nights here and were happily surprised at how nice the hotel was. The room was only located on the 4th floor and had a 140cm x 200cm bed but was quite spacious for Japanese standards. The WiFi worked well, air-conditioning was perfect and the TV had good reception. Nearby is a shopping mall, large pharmacy, several convenience stores like Family Mart and Lawsons, a large supermarket and lots of stores, coffee shops etc. The room had a Handy Free Smartphone Service which we used when out exploring the city so were thankful that we did not waste money on getting a sim card during our visit. There are lots of electrical sockets but only Japanese type so bring some adapters. Sleep quality was good and even though our window looked out onto the main road and nearby river and bridge the room was quiet. Our stay did not include breakfast and we skipped eating here as the breakfast looked simple and was not cheap. As for location, we found that many of the places we wanted to visit were just a short taxi ride away. The staff at this hotel were always friendly and helpful and I wish to thank Mr. Matsuoka who helped check us in and made our stay so pleasant. Thank you.…
