Good location near by Sakae , available with 4 bed which is pretty neat. Very Good breakfast , last bus stop to go to airport , which make trip easy and hassle free if you carry lot of luggage , staff are friendly and very helpful
Although the room was on the small side (double bed ight up against the wall on one side) it was comfortable and quiet. The hotel is located in the Sakae area of Nagoya close to metro stations and plenty pf bars and restaurants. There are 2 breakfast options; the buffet which offers both Western and Japanese options or the (much quieter and very relaxing) Japanese set option...we much prefered the latter.
So glad we booked this hotel. Rooms a bigger than the cruise ship rooms... at least you can roll in your luggage. The buffet breakfast is perfect, highly recommended. There’s onsite parking at $10cdn per night. You park first, then take your ticket to be validated by front desk when you check out.
I was not impressed with Shibuya Tokyu Excel hotel during my previous stay but decided to stay in their Nagoya branch because I know their rooms are much bigger than the standard sized Japanese hotel room. Check in was, as expected, courteous and professional, the usual high standard of Japanese service. I would like to note that they have a dedicated and top-notch Concierge service (which I didn't experience in the Shibuya branch). At the time of our stay, the concierge staff was Ms. Tomoko Hasebe, who helped us tremendously with everything -- from arranging a private van transfer to the airport to excellent restaurant recommendations. She speaks flawless and excellent English as well. The corridors do smell like smoke, even if you arrange for a smoke-free room. The rooms are huge, best fit for families. Locations is great -- close to duty free cosmetic shops and walking distance to the Nagoya tower area/shopping district.…
Hotel is not new but very well maintain and clean . Breakfast is good but not very variety . Room is quite small. Lounge is very small . Concierge staff can speak English very well. There is Starbuck , drug store and mini mart nearby . Subway is 10-15 Mins walking distance. If you want to find nice restaurant , you have to walk to Sakae street .
Lovely people Lovely hotel Lovely experience Only one thing that was negative for me was the fact the room felt very compact and I couldn’t quite figure the air con but other than that it was well presented and clean, Wi-fi everywhere was easy to connect once I twigged how to do it! My fault not theres
We picked this hotel for a one night stop on arriving in Japan. What a fabulous hotel, beautiful foyer and wonderful bedroom and bathroom. The staff are so helpful and friendly they just can’t do enough to make your stay amazing and it certainly was. They helped us to negotiate the public transport and advised us on catching the Bullet train to Kyoto too. We can highly recommend this hotel.
Beautiful Classic Design Hotel with nice spacious clean room. Fabulous concierge service with staff speaking good english. Within walking distance to nearby shopping centres such as Matsuzakaya. Have a nice Ramen shop serving fantastic noodles and Gyoza opposite the hotel if you need a quick meal. There is boutique shops selling chi chi Tai Tai stuff like pearl and crystal encrusted reading glasses and clothes. Not my style though.
We selected Nagoya Tokyu Hotel just because the room is bigger when compares to other hotel in the area. We found this hotel is the best choice. With several convenient stores around and 10 minutes walk to subway. You can stay here and go anywhere in Nagoya. Hotel staffs are friendly too.
Friendly and well trained staff will make you feel like home and it is well located near to nightlife entertainment sheets. Within 2 minutes walk you can find 24 hours duty free pharmaceutical shop and 24 hours convenience store.
