My wife and I along with our seven year old son are very glad we stayed here during our three day stay in Iceland. The hospitality was outstanding we felt welcomed right from the moment we arrived until we left. As far as Iceland goes it was also a great value, an easy drive from Reykavik. Lots of great suggestions... More

The guesthouse was a short drive from Reykavik and easier to find then expected. Guðrún went above and beyond to help us plan our trip both prior to arrival via email and while we were there. She would come upstairs every morning with fresh baked bread and help us plan activities in the area for the day (she has a... More

Our week in Iceland was the trip of a lifetime, due in large part to our stay at the Minna-Mosfell Guesthouse! We spent eight lovely nights here, and it's no exaggeration when I say that Guðrún and Valur treated us like family. From the moment we walked in, we felt at home. The accommodations at the guesthouse were exceptionally clean,... More

On the upper floor of a large farm house, MinnaMosfell offers excellent rooms with a wonderful view. Located near the road that is the beginning of the golden circle, it is convenient both for excursions to the near attractions and to downtown Reykjavik. And, best of all, it is a dark enough location to wait for the Northern Lights, right... More

Our vacation ended in staying at the Minna-Mosfell Guesthouse. We stayed 2 nights and it was wonderful. The accommodations were comfortable (and warm! It was winter) and easy to get to. We had a car and Guðrún helped us each morning plan out what we were doing. She suggested great stops along the way to Geysir and Gulfoss. We even... More

I don't think I've ever stayed in a place that made me feel quite so at home. My husband and i only spent one night at Minna Mosfell but if we were ever in Iceland again it would be longer and we will recommend it to anyone we ever know who plans a trip. Our hostess clearly cares about her... More

My husband and I have experienced our first trip to Iceland, but not our last! It was an amazing time! We spent our first 4 nights at the jewel called Minna-Mosfel. Valur and Gudrun were amazing hosts. The farm itself is beautiful and the location is perfect. Far enough away from Reykjavik but not too far. We were there on... More

As we arrived at Minna Mosfel it was about nine or ten pm and we did not expected to get a room, but we did. After the first night we recognized that it is really usefull to start some trips from here to explore south-west iceland, like the golden circle, glymur waterfall and the lavawaterfalls. We spend such a nice... More

When we first drove up to the minna-mosell guesthouse we it was at night, but we were still able to see some of it's beauty, we thought this place is special. We were greeted by Gudrun's husband and he was so kind to us. The room we stayed in was beautiful and cozy. Nice and warm in the room when... More
