Detailed Reviews
A walking distance from Legoland, this hotel is a good choice if you and your kids would like to visit Legoland. I would like to salute the friendly staff in this hotel, although there was one lady staff who is not really friendly. The male staff who would call at night to take my breakfast the next morning was extremely polite, though he would call during those times when I was at the shower! I like the idea of having a water dispenser along the corridor so as not to use plastic bottles. That is amazing!

With our kids growing older and needing more space to run around PLUS wanting some privacy of our own during our overseas stays, staying at a serviced apartment was just a natural choice for us. The full fridge, kitchen and laundry amenities makes it all the more comfortable, especially with an awesome new grocer just 5-minutes walk away and the need to wash clothes after a day at the water park.
What makes this place all the more special is the lush greenery on the ground floor that we enjoyed taking a stroll at in the evenings. The restaurant on the ground floor is closed but we ate mostly at the Medini Mall 5-minutes walk away anyway (right beside Legoland). There was a 7-11 convenience mart with ready meals on the ground floor of the Afiniti block plus the few vending machines around this serviced apartments too if we had any late night cravings.
The pool was a great place to chill especially on the days we weren't going to Legoland, or at around 6pm since Legoland closes at 6pm too. The evening sunset shot with Legoland hotel as the backdrop from the infinity pool is beautiful.

It's second time I stay in this hotel. Thanks a lot for the great room allocations and we had a great view from our unit.
They hotel room is clean and well decorated. It has basic utensils in the kitchen and very comfortable beds.
The location of this hotel is very convenience for those who like to visit to Legoland. We park our car in the hotel's carpark and the Legoland is about 10 minutes walking distance.

This is the worst check out service I’ve experienced with staff name Mr. Daniel , Mr. Ifwal , and a lady supposed trainee whose 3 staffs are in morning shift. The trainee is rude and not meet standard who are working in hospitality. She did not say any one magic word like “thank you” “please” , no smile and no patient while we are providing our room numbers. For the other 2 male staffs are really unprofessional. We need to pay for breakfast but they do not accept SGD, so we ask them to charge from the deposit, but they strongly request us to provide them the credit card which I have told them the c. card has kept in the luggage already , it is so complicated to open the luggage and take out the c. card. There is no point to annoy the guests if they have difficulties to provide something. What they reply me the reason to provide c. card is hotel policy and need to swipe the c. card. So what is the point to charge deposit while checking in? This is unprofessional and unpleasant experience I’ve ever meet. I worked in hospitality and I am 100% sure that they can just charge by typing the card number in the card machine. What I expected the check out process in 2 mins and now took me 10 mins.
However, I would definitely compliment Mr. Kirmul (not sure if the spelling correct) in the night shift who help us a lot while checking in and give us a lot of recommendation for restaurant and assist in grabbing taxi. He really shows his professional. Please give him the compliment and I might come back for his service if I don’t meet the staffs during check out.
Room is big and the view is good. It’s clean and comfortable. Only one thing need to approve is the air con focusing on the head.

We stayed 1st night in studio unit and the 2nd night in a 1 bedroom apartment. The fittings in studio are newer than in the 1 bedroom apt. And there was a stale smell in the apt. The layout studio and 1 bedroom apt are good but the corridor to the units has a cheap apt/condo look. Stains on the corridor floor were not cleaned properly.
There were thick stains at the edging of the sink and counter top in both units. Bed sheets are clean but one has 2 small holes.
Kitchen cleanliness is satisfactory. 2 of the non-stick pans are so scratched. In the studio, only 1 tea spoon in the drawer instead of 2 even though the unit is for 2 persons.
Location is good. Guests have to pay for hotel parking whereas nearly all hotels in Malaysia provide complimentary parking for staying guests.

We choose and stayed in this hotel as it is just across Legoland - easy access by crossing the road and walking through medini mall to Legoland entrance. The staff were friendly and polite during our check in and verbally guided us on how to walk to Legoland. Our stay was on the 27th floor - superb view! We were greeted with clean and spacious living area & bedroom. The stay comes with free breakfast for 2 adults + kids below 6yrs old dine free. If u drive opt for thier underground carpark.
The near proximity to Medini mall (food options), BIG supermart and the short distance to legoland was a plus point. 👍🏻

I stayed during the 2023 march school holidays, got a 2-bedroom apartment which is in need of repairs. The room number is 0908-1.
Cons: Living room aircon not working, until technician came to sort it out. Common bathroom got flooded in the middle of a shower, and make things worst, the heater also stopped working. The kitchen wastebin is kept in a cabinet. It smelt like something died in there, and we threw all the waste in the toilet wastebin instead.
Pros: Close to Legoland, can easily get groceries at the nearby Medini mall. There are sufficient food options. Hospital is close-by. Carpark is cheap, security is good. Front office staff are polite, and tries to accomodate needs. Requests for extra tissues/towels/toothbrush kits are promptly attended to.

I stayed at 26-01 & the view from that room was so surreal. I saw a lot of greenery surrounded by mist in the morning. And the air always felt so cool up there. I could see Singapore Strait. This is not something that can be easily experienced in Singapore. In fact when I came back, I am constantly thinking about that surreal scenery; it is in my mind all the time & it helps me to relax. I want to go back not because of Legoland, but because of that view.
However, that being said, there were a few areas the hotel could improve on. I was bitten by an insect while I sat on their sofa before I checked in. My child had told me about the bread crumbs on the sofa but I just plonked down. Soon, my right arm became red & swollen. Not a good way to welcome a guest. It will be good if their cleaner can come & check the lounge more often.
My room was well-lit & spacious, & it felt like home. I loved the ambience straightaway. What spoilt the stay was a dead lizard trapped inside the light in the bathroom ceiling. It looked like it had been there for long but the housekeeper did not notice it.
And after the second night, the shower drainage was clogged. As a result, the soapy water overflowed to the bathroom mat which I had placed outside & it became wet. I went down to inform them about it but nothing was done because that night when we returned, there was still water ponding when we took bathed. Only the loose toiletry rack that I reported about had been tightened. Before it was tightened, my bottles of toiletries kept falling onto the ground & it was so annoying having to bend down & put it back. This happened at least 5 to 6 times in just a night.
Last but not least, their marshmallow pillow gave me a hard time. It was so soft & lifeless that as soon as I laid down, it went from fluffy to roti prata in less than 1 minute. As I am a side sleeper, this roti prata was totally unable to support my neck, shoulder & back. I woke up with a very bad sore & aching body. I asked for 1 more pillow the next day but still, 2 roti pratas did not make the support any better. I could not enjoy my day at Legoland due to my aching body.

Booked a one bed room apartment for 4days 3 nights stay. My experience:
The good part:
* Near Legoland (walking distance)
* Groceries and 7-11 stores available nearby to get something urgent
* Friendly frontdesk service crew
* Spacious room which come with a kitchen
The not very good part:
* Apart from being near Legoland, you need grab or drive to other places
* Old hotel which need refurbish
* Limited variety for breakfast
* Miscommunication between staff: one moment the staff was try to get an approval for early check-in, the next moment another staff mentioned early check are only for limited rooms. Another incident was, we mentioned to the frontdesk that we wanted the extra bed with breakfast. The next day when we went for breakfast, the staff mentioned that the extra bed we paid do not come with extra breakfast
* There are extra charges for towels. And everytime after housekeeping we have to call the frontdesk to send us the extra towels which we paid for as the housekeeper always forgotten to replace them
* No free parking for hotel guest

Total stay 3 nights.
1st day. Check in at 9pm. Need to have side by side rooms due to 3 small kids. But given rooms at 2 extreme opp end of the floor. Then 1 room is super smelly. Can't stay in. Request to change. It was closed both playroom and pool during the mco. Sop is very strict. I suggest you call the hotel to confirm before your trip going down.
The mall is walking distance. Just a cross the road and would say probably less than 5 min walk
Hi nadia n,
I didn't know the renovation finished, but I do know not to worry about the local foods. You can call a grab cab to bring you around in the city of Johor Bahru the distance travel about half hour. There are a lot of restaurant for you to choose. Check the price before you enter the restaurant some price are quite high compare with local food store.
If you need some light refreshment you can walk down to 7-11 mini mart just below the apartment facing the Lagoland direction.
Hope you can enjoy your stay there....
Hi Dream, you can check from google map, it show walking need around 45mins..
If you wish to have walking distance to Legoland, I would suggest you stay at "Somerset Medini", this place just opposite the Legoland which walking below 5mins.
