I Went to a new refurbished establishment lulworth lodge for an evening meal with a couple of family friends. The location is picturesque , right next to a small lovely duck pond and a stone throw from the tranquil bay of lulworth cove. We were greeted warmly by the manager Martyn ,shown to our seats and drink orders taken promptly....

A very welcoming greeting by lovely staff on arrival, made to feel a Vip. Escorted to a very comfortable table, service very prompt but not overwhelming. Menu knowledgeably explained. Food served quickly and staff attentive during meal. Ice cream pudding could have had another scoop. A very satisfactory experience all round. Keep up the standard!

Martin, Jo and their enthusiastic team couldn't have made us more welcome, when we arrived here with our two Goldies. Our newly-refurbished room had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable, peaceful and relaxing, with an excellent choice of breakfasts to start the next day. Nothing was too much trouble for them and we look forward to returning next...

this review is of HF, rather than Lulworth Lodge as this has now been sold. Our group of 13 long-in-the-tooth walkers had excellent friendly service from HF staff, and feel very positive about their organisation. We had organised to visit well before the sale went through, but they jumped through hoops and went to great lengths to make sure we...

This is a little gem! We had the best room with great views of the sea and landscape. The cove is just a 2min walk.Everything was comfy and clean, the breakfast was lovely and a good selection. We went as a couple but we would definitely be happy to bring our kids with us next time. Would highly recommend this...

We booked this place through HF holidays for our U3A walking group (20 people). It was excellent and exceeded our expectations. We were made welcome with a cream tea and introduction as to how the hotel worked. The hotel provided a selection of self guided local walks presented on laminated cards and divided up into easy (~3 miles); leg stretchers...

Tastefully refurbished without losing its historical character. The staff are friendly and very accommodating to any requests you have regarding meals, bar service, etc. The food is an excellent standard with bistro style dishes in the evening as well as the more traditional offerings for children. Lots of breakfast choices too, and a hearty packed lunch with freshly prepared sandwiches...

Situated in Lulworth Cove one minute from the water this is a perfect place to stay if you are walking the South West Coast Path. The place seems to have been redecorated recently, and the lobby is a wonderful place to sit both for conversation and eating. You would like a more attentive service though. The lady was both confused...

The Lodge is in a wonderful location a few minutes walk up hill from the cove. There are 12 en-suite rooms which have been recently refurbished to a nice and pleasing standard. Beds are very comfortable as well as the pillows. There is a small open plan area housing the bar, sitting area and dining area with two large communal...
