I really enjoyed my stay with Susie and Adam, although a brief stopover, for a wedding at Deer Park Hall. This was very conveniently located; a beautiful home, in a charming village. On arrival, Susie made me very welcome, and served an appreciated pot of tea and delicious, warm, home-made minced pie! The room and ensuite were so beautifully decorated,...

We stayed here for two nights while attending a wedding in nearby Birlingham. Wonderful warm welcome with tea and delicious lemon drizzle cake. Ground floor room with ensuite shower. Such a comfortable bed! Cosy bathrobes, excellent toiletries, sherry and sloe gin, fresh milk and delicious breakfasts. Eggs from their own hens, home grown tomatoes and potatoes, and local sausage and...

We stayed at Harrowfields for two nights whilst attending a wedding and occupied two double bedrooms with a shared bathroom. The cottage is so homely and Susie made us feel like we were friends more than guests with her witty sense of humour! Her attention to detail from the luxurious bedding and towels, milk in a thermos flask for overnight...

Imagine going somewhere and being treated like an old friend, provided with the best room in the house, sampled a breakfast fit for a fine dining restaurant and you have to leave feeling like you don't want to go, then you're one of those lucky people who have been to Harrowfields! Susie and Adam typify hospitality going the extra mile...

This property is really as pretty as it looks in the picture. We arrived early, accidentally and although Susie and Adam were entertaining friends they still gave us a warm welcome and Susie made us a pot of tea and a slice of cake. Everything seems to be of a very high standard. Susie told us that Adam would be...

5 Stars for a B & B might seem a little over the top, but it is worth it. Susie and Adam are a dedicated and delightful couple, and we would certainly return if we visit the area again. The bedroom - the one with the private bathroom - was excellent, particularly the very comfortable bed. The 400 year old...

I rarely give a 5 star review but this delightful B&B really deserve it. From the warm welcome from Susie and the offer of tea and cake to our fabulously comfortable bed in a pretty and relaxed style room. Really modern touches as the powerful shower with top class toiletries and huge towels in the bathroom to the tray with...

A delightful cottage in a village easy accessible to many places, unfortunately not en suite but with the added advantage of a private bathroom.Although just the 2 of us for breakfast it was spoiled by most of it being pre cooked all good ingredients but very dried up. Parking could be an issue, not well lit when returning in the dark...

Thank you for your review, I am sorry you were not completely happy. Generally we do let guests know that there is no street lighting in Eckington and that there are 2 torches in the bedroom for guests to use. You stayed in the Harrowfields Suite which includes a shower and toilet room, this is an exclusive area of the...

A one night stay in this 400 year plus old building, all clean and fresh, with lots of lovely decorative touches and nice features. Owners sooo nice and welcoming, with comfy bed and first class breakfast making the Trip Advisor 5 star rating by all reviewers fully deserved. (all B&B boxes ticked!) Nice touches we found were; nice moist sponge...

Lovely room, hosts and breakfast (with eggs coming from their chickens). Really comfy, clean rooms and beds. Susie & Adam made us feel at home from the first moment in the door. Will definitely be back soon!
