The staff are friendly and most accommodating. Our vegetarian afternoon tea was really delicious. There was a lovely selection of treat-sized cakes/tarts which were really tasty and not too sweet. The sausage rolls were excellent. It was a well thought out menu. Our teapots were refilled several times with speciality teas and we were left to enjoy our meal unrushed. We certainly recommend Eckington Manor and hope to return soon.

I have nothing but great things to say about the Eckington Manor. We celebrated my wife's 40th here and Tracey and the team went out their way to help make it a weekend to remember. The food was great and the service was exceptional, can highly recommend.

The staff here welcomed us so warmly. We were shown to our lovely cozy room immediately. We were offered dining and given a menu to browse when we got to our rooms. The food was so delicious. Service excellent and ambience cozy. I had the duck to start and it was fantastic. Everything about the meal was great, and although we opted for 3 courses, we still got some extra surprises which delighted us. If you get a clear night sky the stars are spectacularly visible from here. We stopped here on the way down to a wedding in Herefordshire. It hugely exceeded our expectations and plan to be back!

Room Tip: If you plan walking to the village pub, take a torch. The village doesn’t have any street lighting.

We came for our anniversary, we ate in the restaurant and had the tasting menu. Very lovely food, great quality, beautifully presented. Serving staff were on attentive and friendly. Hotel staff were brilliant, very friendly and welcoming and very helpful. I did a bread making course in their cookery school, which was also fantastic and I learned loads that i can use at home. A lovely experience for us both.

We were so lucky to choose Eckington Manor as our wedding venue. From the very first contact we knew we’d made the right choice. Everything was so professional and efficient and we felt in safe hands. Our wedding day was everything we had ever dreamed it would be, and more … absolutely perfect in every way. The staff looked after us and our guests so beautifully, the food (afternoon tea) was absolutely delicious and and the room was light, sunny and airy. We can’t recommend it highly enough. Overnight accommodation - great … beautiful room, really comfortable, spotlessly clean 3 course dinner - wonderful … great service - very attentive but not intrusive Breakfast - just want we needed, and perfectly cooked A special mention and a huge thank you must go to ALL the staff who cared so much that our special day and overnight stay went fabulously.

Visited many times over the past 6 years, and if it were nearer, it would be many more times! We had another lovely stay with a delicious evening meal and breakfast, prepared using quality ingredients - as opposed to processed. Eckington is a place where you’re appreciated. It’s not the corporate, veneered hotel; more of a country house experience, with the core buildings having listed status. They, along with hospitality in general, have faced many challenges over the past few years, but strived to keep their values at the heart of what they do - thankfully!

This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful setting: the old Manor House is gorgeous and the outbuildings have been converted really well. We had a very friendly welcome from the receptionist. There’s a staffed bar and an honesty bar, with lots of cute tables outside to enjoy the surroundings. We stayed in a Deluxe Room, in a barn conversion which was great, modern, clean and super comfortable. Dinner was very good, lots of interesting options and our waiter, Matt, was really friendly and hard-working, went out of his way to make sure we had an excellent dinner. Breakfast was very good, with fruit and cereal options, fresh juice and good cooked options. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed at Eckington Manor for just one night but we had a really lovely stay. Our room in the 900 year-old manor house was stunning, with double-height ceiling and the original rafters. The bed was huge and very comfortable and the bathroom was lovely. Breakfast was a solid 7/10 and the Honour Bar was a really lovely idea. All in all a great stay. Check out the chairs in the landings of the manor house, they're fantastic!

Very wonderful stay here for our mini moon. Hosts were very accommodating and thoughtful. After our 50 mile bike ride I was desperate for a bath and wondered if I could use the facilities in another room as we did not have one and automatically they upgraded us to the suite. Breakfast was amazing too. Highly recommend!
