We arrived there for one night because it was the only hotel in the area, we had no choice.. What was good? Friendly staff only! The hotel is old, the room was horrible.. Train noise, air condition had sound of old ship engine, shower hasn't work properly and the tab had a lick.. The food was from last month and no one talked English! The location was in the middle of nowhere! We walked to the city of capua in the evening for a dinner and it was like a scene from horror movie, empty streets, for sure will never stopped there again!

I checked in very late and even though the restaurant was closed, the manager offered to make me a very nice meal. The breakfast consists of croissants, cereal, juice, and fresh fruit. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly and courteous. The room was not modern or luxury, but is clean and has everything you need.

This hotel was not booked ahead. The hotel room was expensive and poorly maintained with cheap furnishings. On our 3 month stay in Italy all the other dinners we had were a lot better than this Hotel's restaurant, and it cost 90 euros! We have had numerous dinners under 90 euros a lot better than here. Then when we attempted to check out at 9.00am not unreasonably, we were told we could not because the manager was out! We said surely somebody could give us the bill. No way and would it be alright if we waited 5 minutes. We said no as we had a long way to drive that day. 30 minutes later still no bill and no manager to pay. Finally he arrived and gave us the bill with no apology except would we like a coffee. Really.

The Hotel is not a four stars one, as shown in its website. Room was not large, there was a third bed even if not required, bathroom was not comfortable and the shower was not working hundred percent; Tv was very small (about fifteen inches), old fashion style.... There was the fridge, but it was empty!!! Breakfast was ok, unless you have to orded expilcitally for a simple croissant (without choosing the taste...).

In the provincial town Capua is very little to do and is it quite hard to find a decent restaurant. The hotel however is quite okay. But as you may read from the discription, there are a few things worth mentioning. The hotel was renovated a few years ago, thus most of the technical thins are in working order. The staff is friendly and the hotel is easily reached (don't trust your satnav though, since it guides you in the wrong direction: the hotel is located on the cul-de-sac part of the street, near the railway line) The property has a few parking spaces in the courtyard, but if the hotel is fully booked, they are not sufficient and is parking on the side of the street the only option. The rooms are average in size, clean and equipped with the necessary accessory: air conditioning (unfortunately is it quite loud when operating). The bathroom is (I can't state it any other way) small. I am not obese and still the shower was pretty hard to get into. The breakfast isn't much of a breakfast at all. On the second day of my stay... i searched for a local establishment for my breakfast. But the worst part of the hotel is it's location. It's located some 80 meters from a railway line. In daytime you hardly ever come across a train, but at nighttime freighttrains are very frequent and noisy. All things considered, it was reasonable value for money, but would I return: no.
