We travelled with the children (10,14) And everything was fine. we liked it very much and enjoyed the stay. What a surprise, when in the middle of nowhere the ranger presents you drinks, and a hot coffee.

Our family of four had an incredible experience at Settler's Drift. The location, lodge and tented rooms were stunning, the food was delicious and staff were friendly and accommodating. Our ranger took us on two safari expeditions a day and went out of his way to teach us about African wildlife and make sure that we saw more animals than...

Wonderful place to visit, fantastic staff, and a great Safari experience. Kariega Settlers Drift is a very special place, the off road drives were fun, informative and very exciting. The wildlife were exceptional and all looked very happy and healthy. We learned so much from our guide Vicky, and were very well looked after by Jo, Phil and the team.

Excellent Game Reserve. Everything you could want from an animal viewing experience. Accommodations were very good, and the food and staff were excellent as well. I would highly recommend staying at Kariega. We stayed at the Main lodge, which is their mid level accommodation and I would rate everything well above average and exceeding my expectations. We are well traveled...

Our guide Chelee made the trip. She got us in touching distance of so much action in such a discrete way. We saw many amazing things like the Elephant herd being led to water by the bull, a herd of impala being stalked and flushed out by a lioness only for her buddy to let slip the baby impala it...

We had the most wonderful experience at Settlers Drift over Christmas, the accommodation, the food, and the hospitality were amazing. However, our three nights stay was made even more special by having the most brilliant ranger Victoria, she was just great.

Fabulous game reserve where we saw everything we expected to & more! We were very unlucky with the weather as we had torrential rain for the first 14hrs of our stay... however ponchos were provided as well as hot chocolate on return to lodge & it was lovely to dry out by the open fires. The staff & rangers were...
