Stunning location, a great place to relax & plenty to explore nearby if you want a more active break. We stayed in the Poppy safari tent, it was spacious & cosy, loved the log burner for the chilly evenings. Had all the home comforts you could need & more, I've stayed in many hotels that didn't have beds & pillows...

Becky and John made us feel extremely welcome and at home on Cuckoo Down Farm, from the welcome card and very decent bottle of wine, to the complementary kindling and first bag of logs for our Yurt 'Clover'. We spent an idyllic Monday to Friday during the Easter break with our two children aged 9 and 12 and our old...

Myself, my partner and four friends spent Easter weekend in the Primrose safari tent and we had a brilliant time. There was plenty of room for all of us and the tent itself was lovely. The kitchen had everything we needed and all beds were extremely comfortable. There were two big tables which were perfect for socialising and playing games....

I've just returned from a very enjoyable 4 nights at Cuckoo Down Farm. My 3 children and I stopped in the Bluebell Yurt which was very spacious and the beds extremely comfortable. There was a well equipped kitchen area outside the yurt which had tea, coffee and hot chocolate available which was very welcomed. There was also a bottle or...

No TV, no wi-if, no electricity, limited running water! Your worst nightmare? Read no further. But, if you are a lover of a simple life once in a while, fresh air, time to read a good book, breakfast in the open air each morning, plenty of space for your dogs and children to play, an open campfire toasting marshmallows in...

We have just had a wonderful stay at Cuckoo Down Farm. Becky was there to meet us on arrival and made us feel so welcome, and we saw John sorting out the animals (chickens, pigs, goats and sheep, as well as a lovely pony) and met Lilly the dog. Straight away the place had a really homely feel to it....

Our first experience of Glamping, and it was fabulous! Our safari tent was very spacious with lovely furniture and finishes, and a large part-covered veranda so we could sit outside to eat even if it was wet. The log burner made the tent really cosy and it was lovely to have warm croissants in the mornings! Very refreshing to be...

We had such a lovely few days at Cuckoo Down Farm. The yurt was beautifully decorated with lovely touches, plenty of space for 2 adults & 2 children & masses of storage. We stayed in August and were lucky with the weather and ate outside for all meals, but, had it been raining, the yurt may have felt a little...

If you want somewhere to relax and forget about the outside world this is the place to go - we were lucky to have good weather as well. We stayed in the safari tent which was cosy and spacious. The farm animals were an added bonus and the family run site was well maintained with the showers always got and...
