The koi fish pond at the entrance and the lobby area at Paria Suites are pretty much the most welcoming aspects of the hotel. A short ramp leads to the Schelles restaurant which, I'm guessing, was probably much more popular in the 90s. The room was small and stuffy and generally gave a sense of a time long gone. What's...

Stayed her 1 night with a group after coming from a budget guesthouse in Port of Spain. It was a please t surprise. The hotel conference area is currently under renovation, so it will become even nicer. This hotel is ideally suited for those going to the oil fields further south, no problem with traffic. The pool area is the...

Just spent 10 days here with a colleague on a business trip, as there are very few hotels in the area it would appear to have the monopoly of charging what it liked and believe me its not worth what they are charging, you could stop in a very good hotel for about 2/3 the price they are charging in...

This is not a review of the hotel but instead of the onsite restaurant Schelles Surf and Turf Restaurant. You're better off leaving the hotel and buying fast food than eating there. We were setting up for an event for the hotel and thought to save time by having lunch at the onsite restaurant. What ensued was a 50 minute...

Friendly Staff. Simple hotel, home away from home and very efficient. Restaurant staff was very friendly. Jinelle was so helpful with showing me the breakfast buffet. Internet was great all times and air conditioning worked well. I enjoyed my stay.

Stayed int his hotel for close to 1 month whilst travelling with work and enjoyed the stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Limited menu in the restaurant but still good quality and enjoyable. Rooms are large but basic but comfortable enough.

I don't understand how someone can advertise and promote with such lovely photos and words as per their webpage which is far from what they have to offer. The location of this hotel is great, prime for South. Check-in was smooth and simple however the 3 flights of stairs to walk up was not much fun with luggage etc... there...

The last tie I stayed here was a disaster. This time was worse. The rooms are standard Caribbean fare circa 1975. Have not changed since that time. Walls were so thin on both sides that I could clearly hear conversations on the telephone! The TVs in the next room were so loud that I had to turn my TV up...

If your company sends you to this hotel, well, is better than the other smaller ones. It is a basic hotel. Lacks a few things, like an elevator to reach the rooms of the upper floors. Rooms are noisy poorly sound insulated, thus you can share the private activities of your neighbors, just by turning down your TV. You'll get...

In May my wife and I stayed here for one night. It cost $913TT. The room was not as good as some places that we stayed, and nowhere near as comfortable, or clean that cost only $60TT. In the morning there was only a dribble of water from the shower, hardly enough to have a wash with a cloth. The...
