Awesome campground, right next to the Rim Trail and within walking distance of the Visitor Center where you can take the shuttle or the general store where you can take showers (for a fee). Flush toilet and water are available and there's plenty of sites to choose from. First-com

We found this better than Sunset because the roads were smoother and the ground was drier, less muddy. The location is better too, a lot closer to Sunrise Point, the Rim Trail, and the lodge. The spaces weren’t huge or very private but there are plenty of trees, squirrels, and bi

North Campground has no hook-ups but it does have flush toilets and power in the washrooms, which were clean. It was first come, first served and the ranger was very nice when we arrived, helping us pick our spot, (B 40). We were walking distance to the Visitor Center, where shut

There is no heat nor hot water in the washrooms which was not great since it was so very cold out. There are no showers so you need to go to the general store and use the showers there. There is easy access to the rim of Bryce Canyon from the campground. There is not much in the

We arrived very early to get a spot in the first come first served section. We chose Loop B #47 in 35” motorhome. We loved loop B as it’s a short walk to the rim where you can watch the sunrise or sunset or hike around the rim. The campground is quiet though it’s pretty crowde

Our beautiful campground!
Camping zwischen den Bäumen
View from campsite I had
Any comments on insects/spiders when tent camping? I think mosquitoes likely won't be a problem (especially in the freezing temps of November) but any run-ins with spiders or other scary things like scorpions??
Not at all. There are, however, TONS of adorable chipmunks. :)

I'll be arriving around 11 am in early October. How difficult is it to get a tent campsite at that time of year? Thanks!
We were there during the summer, but we got a spot arriving around that time. They said they barely ever "sell out." You should be fine!!

which loops/sites are first come first serve basis?
Will be going in June 2016. How hard is it to get campsite in the afternoon? Morning?
Hi! We’ll be visiting Zion on the 4th of July and would like to camp with our RV. I see that there are works going on right now on the campgrounds and less campsites are avalaible, all first Come first serve. At what time should we arrive to have a reasonable chance of finding a place? Should we call in the morning? Thanks for your answer!
