Awesome campground, right next to the Rim Trail and within walking distance of the Visitor Center where you can take the shuttle or the general store where you can take showers (for a fee). Flush toilet and water are available and there's plenty of sites...More

We found this better than Sunset because the roads were smoother and the ground was drier, less muddy. The location is better too, a lot closer to Sunrise Point, the Rim Trail, and the lodge. The spaces weren’t huge or very private but there are...More

North Campground has no hook-ups but it does have flush toilets and power in the washrooms, which were clean. It was first come, first served and the ranger was very nice when we arrived, helping us pick our spot, (B 40). We were walking distance...More

We were there during the summer, but we got a spot arriving around that time. They said they barely ever "sell out." You should be fine!!
