I was in the park for a five day trip. The lodge was the perfect setting, the veranda has practically 360 degree of the lake and the calderra. The on site restaurant has a good variety of food for those with picky palates. There is one other restaurant in close proximity with more casual fare. The lodge itself is close...

Every single aspect of our stay here was perfect. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us (we got very lucky and were able to get a room without a reservation - which is highly unusual here as it books up months in advance). The restaurant was great. The view is indescribable. As soon as you see it you...

I was blown away by the lodge. Much like the lodge at the Grand Canyon, the Crater Lake Lodge is 100% "location, location, location!" You just can't beat the views and the remoteness offered by the Lodge. At night you can actually see stars in the sky because there is so little light pollution. In the morning, if you're brave...

Crater lake national park is hands down beautiful. I have been fortunate to have been able to visit here twice. The first time in Sept of 2014 (were we actually stayed over night in the lodge) and in Sept 2016 for the day. My dad and I travel to many national parks and the lodge here is our favorite. Pros:...

A beautiful hotel in such an amazing position overlooking the most impressive lake. Shame the staff are so blasé and uninterested. Food in the restaurant is boring and really expensive and the service not very good. The rooms are small but quaint. Don't expect air conditioning of tv but the stars are enough to keep you entertained !

We planned our trip to Crater Lake quite late (about one month in advance) so never thought we'd be able to get a room here as they were all fully booked by then. But read somewhere that it you just keep checking there are always cancelations at the last minute. So this was what I did for about a week,...

When I was planning our trip through southern Oregon and northern California that included Crater Lake, I knew there was only one place that we would be staying in that park, the lodge overlooking the lake. Sure I checked a few reviews, but having visited several National Parks and stayed in many of the lodges in these parks, I sort...

Don't expect your typical modern hotel room. You won't get an air conditioner and a TV. What you will get is a view like no other, a trip back to the 50s and 60s in terms of charm, and a feeling that you're truly away from the city. However, there is available Internet access, so you won't entirely be cut...

One of the most beautiful lakes i've been to! So deep, blue and massive. Was more interested in photography, and it was a fantastic place for that! Great place to see the beautiful skies reflected in the lake at sunrise and sunset.

We stayed here for one night and it was the last night they were open for the season. It is a great place and has great charm as an old national park hotel. We had a room with a view of the lake and it was outstanding. Even had a great view from the bathtub. No shower but still great....
