This is the only game in town for anyone wanting to stay in Stovepipe Wells. The rooms are pretty basic. As would be expected in a resort area, the room price is double what a comparable room would cost outside a park, but I've paid a LOT more inside other parks for rooms that weren't as good, so we had...

The room was clean, however during our 4 day stay one day they forgot to do daily housekeeping one day. The staff was pleasant. Pool was not heated, which in winter while mild would have been a pleasant experience to swim in at least warm water not colder then the air. Small refrigerator and coffee maker provided in the rooms....

Hello and thank you for your recent stay and feedback! We are pleased to have been part of your visit to Death Valley National Park. Winter is a beautiful time of year but even Death Valley can get a bit chilly. Although our pool is solar heated, its water can be cooler than the ambient temperature during our coolest times....

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, comfortable, quiet, very large, and completely updated/remodeled. A perfect location to stay to see some of the areas in Death Valley. We only stayed here 1 night, then spent the next day seeing the sights in Death Valley, then exited the park at the East entrance and stayed in Amargosa Valley...

I stayed for four nights and had a room in the Roadrunner building. The room was large, comfortable, and had plenty of space, but could have used some updating and a bit more cleaning. The table and lamp between the beds were dusty and there was a dead bug smeared on the wall by the sink. The Roadrunner building is...

This hotel; is run by a vendor for the National Park Service and is "rustic". It is in the middle of the park and a good distance from any other place to rest your head. It was clean, the people were friendly but it is fairly old and rustic. Walls are paper thin so you can hear anything that goes...

Hello and thank you for your recent stay and feedback! We like that you chose word “rustic” as that is also one of our favorite adjectives for Stovepipe Wells Village. Our hotel, is in fact, old, in the best sense. We have maintained a great deal of the original structures that date back to early Western settlers in search of...

Nice clean hotel in Death Valley. Staff were courteous and helpful. The room had been updated with new tile in bathroom and attractive headboard for the bed. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Bottled water, coffee maker and a refrigerator are good benefits. Very close to the sand dunes.

We stayed for four nights at Stovepipe Wells (SPW) in the Roadrunner complex (furthest from the road, highest price, two queen size beds/room)—the most expensive rooms with newly remodeled large shower and a view of the sand dunes from a distance. Due to very thin walls, ask for an end room so that your chances of a noisy neighbor will...

There's not a lot of options in Death Valley NP, but this makes a pretty good choice: restaurant, laundry, & groceries on-site, and fairly central location - easy access to other sections of the park, plus sand dunes practically at your doorstep and cool hikes nearby (like Mosaic Canyon)! We got a Deluxe 2-Queen room w/sand dune views - good...
