I stayed here a few years ago with my parents (in the ranch). The lodgings are basic but as others have mentioned this is kind of part of the experience. The setting is absolutely fantastic, right in the middle of the park. I spent a couple of days here, during which I walked around in the early morning, went horse...

My wife and I have just returned to England after a wonderful month spent touring and staying in hotels in California. Most if not all of the hotels we stayed at were predictably first class but one or two were just fabulous - The Furness Creek Ranch being one of those. For a stay in any hotel to reach '5...

Stayed one night as stopover on journey from Grand Canyon to Yosemite. Had booked ranch in ignorance of alternative option of the Inn. No regrets in doing so. Extremely pleasant stay in cabin. Excellent meal in steakhouse. In fact, on advise of staff, shared a steak between the two of us. More than enough for the two. Not quite sure...

Stayed in a cabin at the Ranch for one night in Death Valley. Yes, the room is small, and very basic, but it's also part if the experience.....very rustic. The bed was pretty comfortable, the room was clean, and sitting outside in the chairs looking at the stars and moon was priceless.

We did a road trip stopping in Death Valley with some friends. All moms and kids over spring break. Wasn't expecting Death VAlley to be the highlight of the trip, but actually it was fascinating, and Furnace Creek Ranch was a very pleasant surprise. Great place to stay with kids: really large, nice swimming pool, which you'll appreciate after hiking...

We spent one night here in May 2014. After driving for hours through Death Valley suddenly some palm trees and other plants appear. This ranch is located in the middle of the desert which makes it a one of a kind experience. We had a room in the back of the ranch, overlooking the golf course. We had a great...

We arrived late afternoon on our second day in the U.S.A. So after checking in made our way to the Corkscrew Bar for a welcome beer and stayed all evening. After a good breakfast at the restaurant we headed out for the wonders of Death Valley. A great. Day and again an evening in the bar. Second day we went...

Death Valley in the winter is delightful. Explore, play a round of golf, enjoy the view from Dante's. The summer is a different story. This place gets really hot. 125 degrees Fahrenheit (52 degrees Celsius) is Common in July. For some reason Europeans love it? If you go in summer, drink a lot of water and don't wander around alone....

We came in to Death Valley from Lone Pine, an extremely hot ride, 42c, and lots of road works. We were over heated and a little distressed, and looking forward to a cold drink and a lie down. The office was unbearably hot, and unfortunately, the staff incompetant. The que was long, and the progress tedious. Once outside however, everything...

OK, after a long drive into Death Valley from California in 104 F heat this ranch was a great escape from the heat! our room was in the 700 building facing the golf course with grassy area behind our balcony on the first floor so our kids were able to run around despite the heat after the long drive... the...
