We stayed at the Ranch. There was a long wait to check in. We stayed two nights. Rate is about $200 per night. Room was clean but there was a hole in our ceiling where a fan should have been. We could have used the fan as the air conditioner didn't real cool the room down enough for us for...

We have enjoyed staying at the FC Inn for many trips. This time out, as we were with friends, we stayed at the Ranch for the first time. The Inn is an iconic castle, but a little spendy. The Ranch, which we had just never stayed there before, is run by the same company and we found the accommodations comfortable...

Furnace Creek Inn and Furnace Creek Ranch are NOT the same place, or even close geographically. They are a mile apart and two very different experiences. We stayed at the Ranch, which is a mile north of the Inn. Everything was lovely. What is nicer about the Ranch than the Inn is that the Ranch has a little "town" right...

Our stay at Furnace Creek Ranch (not Inn) was great. I didn't expect much because of the reviews I had read, but I was pleasantly surprised. Yes, the facility is dated, but the rooms have been updated nicely. Yes, the prices are high for staying in the middle of nowhere, but Death Valley is a wonderful place to visit, the...

We stayed at the Furnace Creek Ranch. Immediately upon entering the building we noticed a cigarette smell, even though it is a non-smoking hotel. Upon entering our room there was also a mildew smell. The bedding seemed clean and major surfaces were dusted, but the top of the air conditioning unit and higher surfaces were dusty. The A/C unit had...

We stayed in one of the cabins, which are the least expensive option at Furnace Creek Ranch. The cabin was clean but quite small. It did have a small refrigerator and decent a/c. The bathroom was quite small and showed signs of wear. There was WiFi and cable television. The furnishings were basic and serviceable. When checking out, we were...

We loved the grounds at the inn and the wonderful pool area with the fabulous fireplace every night. The service and food in the dining room were very good and we loved happy hour out on the patio. Sunrises from our veranda were lovely.

We stayed 3 nights at the Furnace Creek Inn. We found it a very pleasant hotel--clean, decent sized room, nice balcony. Lush grounds a very nice surpise in the dessert. Efficient staff. (If you're a senior, be sure to ask for your discount. The desk doesn't tell you about it.) The restaurant at the Inn, on the other hand, was...

We stayed at the Inn for one night as part of a road trip and found the rooms and amenities to be in relatively good condition considering the age of the hotel. The views from the rooms overlooking the Hotel Pool into the valley are quite good. We found the in house restaurant had a good menu but found the...

I wrote a review of this facility when we last stayed there in 2011. I gave it three stars then. We had some service issues that were troubling but we had no issues during this stay. The rooms were just acceptable then but they have now been updated. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Rooms at the...
