I can only address these two venues from the point of view of a tent campers. The Ranch Nd The Inn represent two different venues. The Ranch is the more casual of the two, and offers lodgiIng, a pool, public showers and casual dining options which include a cafe and saloon with cold beer. We visited the cafe one morning...

After visiting Yosemite NP we visited Death Valley on our way back to Vegas, then back to North Carolina. We stayed one night at Furnace Creek. The drive through Death Valley was beautiful and the hotel was nice. Cute cabins, set up like a little western town. The rooms were clean and cool, since it was106 degrees outside. We did...

Perfect location within the Death Valley National Park to plan and spend each day exploring this magnificent part of the planet. At the end of each day, you want a beer, a nice meal, and somewhere to hang out, and then crash and have a solid nights sleep. Furnace Creek Ranch Resort "ticked" all the boxes for us. We spent...

Don't be put off by its outer appearance, this is a great place to stay. Sop, three places to eat, swimming pool, golf (if you want to play at 5am), other sports and activities. Our room was fine and had excellent air conditioning and great view. There is small Borax museum on site that passes half an hour or so...

This review is about the Furnace Creek Ranch Resort The best thing about this place is that it is conveniently located to some of the best known sights in Death Valley - Badwater Basin, Zebriskie Point & Dante's View. The property is nice & well spread out & indeed is an oasis. There are enough distractions & amenities to keep...

I stayed here a few years ago with my parents (in the ranch). The lodgings are basic but as others have mentioned this is kind of part of the experience. The setting is absolutely fantastic, right in the middle of the park. I spent a couple of days here, during which I walked around in the early morning, went horse...

My wife and I have just returned to England after a wonderful month spent touring and staying in hotels in California. Most if not all of the hotels we stayed at were predictably first class but one or two were just fabulous - The Furness Creek Ranch being one of those. For a stay in any hotel to reach '5...

Stayed one night as stopover on journey from Grand Canyon to Yosemite. Had booked ranch in ignorance of alternative option of the Inn. No regrets in doing so. Extremely pleasant stay in cabin. Excellent meal in steakhouse. In fact, on advise of staff, shared a steak between the two of us. More than enough for the two. Not quite sure...

Stayed in a cabin at the Ranch for one night in Death Valley. Yes, the room is small, and very basic, but it's also part if the experience.....very rustic. The bed was pretty comfortable, the room was clean, and sitting outside in the chairs looking at the stars and moon was priceless.

We did a road trip stopping in Death Valley with some friends. All moms and kids over spring break. Wasn't expecting Death VAlley to be the highlight of the trip, but actually it was fascinating, and Furnace Creek Ranch was a very pleasant surprise. Great place to stay with kids: really large, nice swimming pool, which you'll appreciate after hiking...
