We camped in Tek with our 27 ft. RV for 3 nights (the minimum) and WISH we stayed longer! We got a site on the outter edge of the furthest loop and LOVED the views. We got the Tek pass and took the bus into Eilson Visitor Center and took a guided hike up the Alpine Trail. This was PERFECT...

The best access for camping with the least amount of people. Great Denali views from the Group Camping area at the bottom loop. You can come and go at any time with your vehicle at this site, you may get closer to the mountain, but your travel times are limited. We took a tour to Wonder Lake, (only made it...

In the heart of Denali National Park, the Savage River Campground is a great place to park the RV or set up a tent. There are bathrooms that flush and running water to refill your water bottles and wash your hands. The location is the furthest out in the park you can go on your own but still have the...

I stayed two nights at Riley Campground. They have spots for 22 a night that have a nice firepit and a cleared gravel drainage bed tent pad. I got a nice spot only a tent away from the nice clean bathrooms. You also have the option to drive up to the bathroom in the next loop which is nice. This...

Was a bit scared to be locked into a no hookup campground for three nights but wished we stayed even longer. The vaulted toilets were very clean. There was a gray water washing sink and a water spicket. The sites were very clean and in walking distance to a river. Get the tek pass so you can go in and...

We visited mid to late July 2016 and experienced quite a bit of rain. Bring rain gear and be willing to enjoy the site regardless and you will not be disappointed. Our Tek Pass took us out to Wonder Lake and back. We saw many grizzly bears, moose, caribou, a wolf, ground squirrels, a porcupine, a snow shoe hare as...

We stayed at the Savage River camp grounds in our small van. Finding a spot was easy and the amenities were simple. It was about a 15 minute drive back to the Riley Creek Camp Ground that had the (very clean!) showers, laundry, wifi, shop and check-in info. The staff were really helpful and we booked a bus ticket to...

While visiting Denali, we stayed in two different campgrounds. We stayed for one night in the main Riley Creek Campground for one night. It was pleasant and easy to get around; we certainly enjoyed the showers at the Mercantile. We also stayed for two nights at the Teklanika River Campground. If you can swing it, I highly recommend this campground....

Our first time camping here. Everything was perfect except that until we got to the park there were no real guidance or real information of how everything works. For instance we knew ahead of time that once we got to our campsite, we were not able to go back to the entrance for anything (which was fine). But when we...

We wanted to stay further into the park, but only Riley campgrounds was available. It turned out to be a nice campground; good space between campsites, nice raised gravel tent site and good facilities. And because we were close to the park entrance, we could use the money we saved by camping, to go into town for some great beer...
