Kind stuff, delicious food (best we ate in Alaska), nice rooms and stunning views. This place gave us everything we needed to explore nice surroundings of Denali NP, we really appreciated the possibility of borrowing bikes. Solar panels as green energy source are nice as well.

Skyline lodge is at the end of the road park road. It's a scenic 7 hours by road from the park entrance and is ideally located overlooking Moose Creek. Mt Denali can be seen a short walk from the lodge towards Back Country Lodge, close to Kantishna Air Taxi. Best way to travel is bus one way, fly out by...

Thank you for the review. It really is important that guests go in to their stay knowing that their room is separate from our restrooms by a couple flights of stairs outside of the guest lodging building to be sure we are a good fit for them! Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are so...

My husband and I spent 2 nights at the Skyline lodge in August (not enough) The staff made everyone feel at home and were very helpful. The views were spectacular. Dinners were family style and delicious. This made it easy to get to know not only the staff but the other guests as well.

Loved every minute of being at Skyline. All good and the food is exceptional. Kudos to Christina, the chef. I wish I could have stayed longer. This is a rather small lodge making it easy to meet and socialize as much as you want with other guests and staff. Hiking, biking, and blueberry picking were activities we took advantage of....

We had an unforgettable stay here. I would highly recommend it but with a few caveats. You should be prepared to be self sufficient here.  Folks come here to stay for a couple of days and while here, they hike and explore on their own.  Does that sound like you?evaluate that before booking. The lodge itself consists of a main...

Stayed here for two nights as part of a group while touring Denali. As others have mentioned, it is in a beautiful spot at the end of the park road. The staff are awesome and the rooms are quiet and cozy/comfortable. It sort of has a communal living/bed & breakfast feel to it, sometimes it is hard to tell who...

Hi William, Thanks so much for taking the time to review your experience at our lodge. We are glad to hear that overall you enjoyed your experience with us. You are correct that the bathroom being in the main lodge can be an issue for some- so we try to make sure people know that there are no en suite...

It is worth the travel time to come to Kantishna and specifically to Skyline Lodge! It is as far back into the Denali area as you can go and it feels that way. The lodge is very comfortable - we enjoyed relaxing in the common areas after long days of hiking. Bobbie was very helpful in his hiking recommendations and...

This place is a real treat. Deep in Denali. Great views, great food, clean and kind and helpful people. The shared bathroom thing was OK with proper planning. It rained almost the entire two days we were there and we still enjoyed it. This is a place for independent souls. No tour guides, etc.

Wow. Awesome, excellent value place tucked into the Kantishna hills deep in Denali NP. From the moment we were greeted outside as we got off the bus, we knew we found a keeper. The staff were all incredible, proving guidance for daily excursions, amazing food, and a family like atmosphere. With only a handful of other guests, and easy access...
