While Glacier National Park is beautiful, our cabin in Apgar Village Lodge was not good. It had an odd smell even though the beds were clean, but the little kitchen was so old I didn’t want to use it. The bathroom was terrible!!!! I mean the worst we’ve ever stayed in! The

We chose this because it accommodated 6 in a cabin within the park at a reasonable price. We arrived in mid-September so some amenities had already closed, but the stay was very pleasant and the location at the base of Lake MacDonald on the Going to the Sun road was superb.

If you are looking for a hoity toity (sp?) place to stay, go somewhere else. If you are looking for a drop dead location, serenity(in the evening) and view, stay here. (Except the walls are paper thin, so you may get to know your neighbors a little more than you thought). There

There is a reason the website doesn't show the rooms, what you get for $120/nt is not what I expected. The rooms have 2 bedrooms, ours had a queen bed in the main room and a full in the back bedroom. There is a bathroom which is very "cozy" and the shower is the size of a shower

Blackflies and wasps were the only insect pests we encountered but I would suggest that you have a repellant regardless. Warmer weather and lighter winds generally mean abundant insects of all kinds.
