I had read about the negatives so was prepared.
We arrived ain the dark so s little tricky.
Check in is at Bright Angel and then have to do a loop with car and hope for parking spot.
No lift and rubbish wifi.

I would assume the second floor would be better, as you may be able to see more "in" the canyon. We did not stay on the canyon side since those rooms were a bit more expensive, but just walking out the door and a couple... More
I would assume the second floor would be better, as you may be able to see more "in" the canyon. We did not stay on the canyon side since those rooms were a bit more expensive, but just walking out the door and a couple steps, the views were breathtaking!
