The only reason you stay here is to be close to the Canyon, and it is indeed close. You can walk to various views or, more easily, take the free shuttle buses that covers a very long stretch up and down the rim, and give plenty of hikes and view points. The site itself however is not great and you'd...

We've been camping since the sixties (tent, pop-up, small travel trailer) but needing more creature comforts as senior travelers. We travel in a small travel trailer with water, electric, and sewer if possible. Would definitely have preferred the National Park natural environment but decided to take a chance on Trailer Village RV Park. No, it's not pristine wilderness and yes,...

Made reservations a week in advance and received email confirmation with confirmation #. But when we arrived, the clerk couldn't find our reservation by either name or confirmation #. I then showed him the email on my iPhone and he all of a sudden was able to find our reservation and declared it had been cancelled. We certainly did not...

Stayed one night with snow coming down in sheets. Loved the true outdoors at this park. Walked the South Rim at 7 am, after breakfast at the Yakapai Lodge restaurant. Shuttle buses run every 15 minutes so you can travel as far around the canyon as time permits. All park personnel we encountered were extremely helpful and cordial.

The sites are small and fairly close together, but it's a great location for visiting Grand Canyon. We have a 41 foot 5th wheel, and we just fit in the site with the truck parked sideways. It's full hookup and all about location. Once you're set up you don't even have to drive anywhere. There is a bus stop right...

I can't review this location, only the horrible customer service!! We booked a powered RV site for 2 nights about 3 months before we arrived. We ended up renting rooms at Yavapai lodge because we had a few more people come with us, so the first night of lodging we did not check our RV in at the site. Instead...

Showers are a 10 minute walk and disgusting. Sites are paved but not level. Space inside RV park is plentiful and it's quiet. having a shuttle stop there is great. you can also walk to lodge and that's the nearest wireless spot.

We arrived past check in hours so found our name on door and headed to our site. Near toilets which was great and these were kept clean. They have elk wandering around and self service laundry. Showers are $2 for 8 minutes and laundry was about $5 to wash and dry a large load. Skip the buffet breakfast as this...

Roomy sites, quiet, elk wandering through campground, and fantastic cable tv. All within a short walk to the park shuttle to get to everything you want to see and do. Tips- pay heed to the host's suggestion to not leave your sewer hose out. The ravens definitely do poke holes in them! Also, be prepared to be unplugged from your...

We spent a weekend here in February. It was only half full, but the sites were spacious. Ours was not quite level, but not a big deal. It was a 10-15 minute walk to the market and restaurant. The shuttle was only a couple minutes away and useful for getting to the Bright Angel area. I can imagine if the...
