Your stay the Grand Canyon gets so much more exciting when you stay inside the Park instead of in Tusayin. It is a very nice and comfortable place, walking distance from the train station and the Rim. The rooms are homely and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful and you have a good choice of food within the...

Maswik is a simple, no-frills motel in a wonderful location. The rooms are a bit outdated but clean and have a Keurig and small fridge available. We had two queen beds and decent shower. I agree with others that the rooms feel a bit dark but we were there to rest up before our hike to Phantom Ranch. Great location...

My cousin and I planned a spur of the moment road trip to get away and so I could check off a bucket list item. The room was great larger than I expected and I really liked the orientation of the bathroom. The galley style hall separating the sink area from the rest of the room is perfect for someone...

The Maswik Lodge is an older Lodge with separate buildings, with approx. 8 rooms per building. The Rooms are old with thin walls and a noisy ac/heater uni and with a large gap around the door which had no security catch on it.. The room was clean but the towels was older and not soft, and neither were the beds!...

My wife and I stayed here two nights in early May. The accommodations were great. We were told it was a remodeled room and we paid a little extra through the Grand Canyon Railroad package deal . We stayed in the Aspen building, is was a 10 minute walk to the rim, close to dining, and the shuttle bus that...

This was stopping point number 4 on our tour of the canyons. Rooms are simple but comfortable. Things are a little dated but to the point of giving a bygone feel. You can't see the Canyon from the lodges and we failed to find our way to the rim for the sunrise which was a shame. Breakfast is canteen style...

I stayed in one of the lodge buildings furthest away from the rim - however, it still is an easily walkable distance to the rim. The free shuttle will pick you up at the main lodge and bring you to the various places in the park. The rooms at Maswik are older and could use some updating, however the room...

Spacious room in excellent location -- the national park! Ground floor patio with outdoor chairs to enjoy woods setting. Very convenient 5-minute walk from Maswik Lodge to the paved South Rim walking/running trail for viewing Grand Canyon. Lodge cafeteria/pizza pub options are in a 2-minute walking distance. Rooms have refrigerator and Keurig coffee machine (with recycling of the plastic coffee...

This was our first trip to the Grand Canyon, which btw, no photo can ever do justice. The Maswik lodge was quiet, peaceful, clean, and just what we were looking for. Our room wasn't luxurious, but in Grand Canyon village, I hope you're there for what's outside of the hotel. We had a great location, with just a short walk...
