Nice lodge style accomodation located very close to south rim. Situated close distance to the two more expensive hotels inside the park. Not sure why you would stay at the others as they are so close by for the price difference. Room was large enough for 2 adults 2 children. Microwave in room. Hotel was clean and comfortable.

If you are after a room with rim views then Maswik Lodge isn't for you but as you spend most of the daylight hours outside exploring the Canyon. Great value for the price. Rooms are very large with a fridge & coffee maker.

We spent one night at the Maswik Lodge at late December 2016. All in all it is money worth place. Room is very clean, and warm. Two main comments - 1. Room furniture is very basic, and very old fashion. Looks like furniture was not replaced since last WW II. Same for blankets... 2. Power facilities within the room were...

Our room (Maswik South 6693) was clean, large and quiet. Our only complaints were that there is no wifi (the only Lodge that does not have it) and it was the farthest room from the rim. If I had know about the wifi and that we would have no cell coverage, I would have spent the extra $ to get...

We stayed here for a night and we were three adults. The room was a little old( defintiely could be refurbished) but the room was clean. I can imagine the room getting stuffy in summers (we were there in October) It was very convenient as the arizona shuttle stopped right next to the main building, and the national park shuttle...

We stayed at this lodge in July 2016 for 2 nights. The room was clean and quiet. Comfortable bed. Bathroom ok! The breakfast/self service restaurant has a great choise, and the pizzeria restaurant is very good. It's a perfect place to stay for a few night and stay within the park, sleeping just next the beauty of the Grand Canyon

The front desk staff was courteous and quick. Booked through Expedia and can't believe I'm staying 5 minutes walk from the rim of the Grand Canyon for $100 (two queen bed, basic accommodation)! The room is simple but has exceeded expectations with their amenities like a Keurig and quality complementary toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion - smells great)....

Was a little apprehensive when I booked the Maswik Lodge South instead of the "better" North accommodation, but it exceeded our expectation. The room is a little dated, BUT it blend nicely into the atmosphere of Grand Canyon. We got a room that is very close to the main building, which definitely is a plus ! Room is a little...

My family stayed here for 2 nights and I loved the location (few minutes walk to the rim). The room was very nice (we stayed in the North wing), clean and comfortable. However- our toilet overflowed the first night and we had to call maintenance - the floor was completely soaked (on the carpet) and the guy just put down...

The best part of this lodge is its location. You can walk about 5 minutes to the South Rim. It is a bit complicated to get to the lodge - sort of like going through a maze. There is a café, snack shop and gift shop in the same area that you check in. You can get just about any...
