We decided to visit the Grand Canyon on a last minute basis so hotel availability was slim. The only hotel in fact available was Maswik. It is basic to say the least. The TV was straight out of the 70's. Very dated. But it was clean and functional. And the location was terrific. A short walk to the Canyon. The...

We stayed at the Moswik Lodge for 2 nights for a Rim to Rim to Rim run. The rooms are nothing special but offer everything you need, particularly a comfortable night sleep. Everything was clean, shower worked perfectly fine and there is a coffee maker as well as a fridge in the room. Wifi is slow but free of charge...

I would give it 4 stars if they simply got a new bedspread. Basic clean lodging for under $90 a night. 1/2 mile or so from Canyon, good shuttle service. Cafeteria on grounds, didn't try it. Good pizza on grounds. Not a bad place, just needs new bedspread.

We live in Arizona. Thus, we spend the night at the Grand Canyon at least once a year, and ALWAYS bring guests there to enjoy. If you don't stay right on the rim, you probably will miss the awesome sunset and sunrise! Maswik Lodge (keep in mind there is a north and south choice, one has been remodeled recently, one...

We stayed here prior to our backcountry permit at the Bright Angel Campground. The room was very old-fashioned and sheets were very old looking, but I would say the room was clean and location was quiet. We were walking distance to the Lodge's cafeteria and in close proximity to Backcountry office parking lot which was important to us due to...

I was expecting to check in to a "hotel" when I arrived at the GC. I was sure surprised to find myself in a cabin style "lodge" and I was a little disappointed at first. After settling in I realized this was actually a great place / location to stay. It felt as though we were in the woods in...

Room is ok, not really nice, but clean. No wi-fi for the South Wing (the cheapest, but still not that cheap) which probably wouldn't cost that much to the owner... Other wing seems much better but is almost 100$ more expensive. Bad wi-fi in the reception building. I think it is better to plan on staying in Tuyasan, out of...

No hot water in shower and when I tried to advise the front desk, the representative did not ask how my stay was and was only concerned that my luggage was out of the room. She then walked away and did not give me a chance to alert her to the hot water issue. The Transportation desk attendant seemed bothered...

The room was clean and comfortable. We had 3 adults in a standard room with queen sized beds. The free wi-fi worked sporadically. I used my AT&T wifi service without any problems. I stayed here at part of a package deal so I don't know the price of the rooms. The food was mediocre and I would not recommend eating...

We were allocated a room that was very dirty. Carpet was thick with dirt to the point of being shiny. I would not have walked on it in bare feet! The view was over the hotels butane gas plant. Not what we wanted for the grand canyon visit. Our room was changed on complaint, reluctantly , but the new room...
