Rooms were dated, throwing a flatscreen on the wall was the only modernization they had done in some time. Room was chilly but the heater was so noisy and smelled of dust when turned on that we didn't use it. It was clean and comfortable however, so suited it's purpose for our trip. Food at the restaurant was passable yet...

Stayed here two nights. Keeping in mind this is a basically a motel in a national park...Rooms were clean and functional. Park has a restaurant/liscenced lounge which is fairly expensive considering the fare, but the food is decent enough with a wide selection of meals. General store was more like a small supermarket, had everything you could need.

Booked last minute, was so cold and arrived late at night I didn't want to set up my camp in 14 degree weather in the dark so this place saved me. The room was good, we got the pet friendly room, which was also nice to have that option. The heat worked very well. The location is fantastic. The only...

January at the Grand Canyon is great. Few visitors and wide open trails. The Lodge is very nice. Stayed in pet friendly room in the older section. Beds very comfortable w nice linens. Very clean and well cared for. Bathroom is updated. Love the orientation to recycling and conservation. Ate at the bar in the lodge- for bar food it...

Stayed in the east side buildings during my visit. Basic concrete buildings from the '60s I would guess. Nothing fancy here, just the basics. No wi-fi anywhere near the rooms and very limited cell service. Quite a long walk from the office, Market, restaurant and tavern. No air conditioning, I wouldn't want to stay here in summer, was quite warm...

We visited the last week of December, busy but not too crazy! Great location to stay at many lookouts in the south rim, there is a shuttle service takes you to and from the points. Our room was located in front of a beautiful woodsy area with lots of trees and snow! Has great walking trails if you don't want...

We have been to the Yavapai Lodge 25 years ago on our Honeymoon. And since then, no investments were done, it would seem... Very small rooms, heating not working (in January, with 4" of snow overnight), Facility Management not even bothering to come and look at it (but putting a report in that everything works at the front desk). We...

Location is definitely its advantage. It’s at the center of the park close to everything. Convenient for all sorts of transportation. The room is relatively clean and well kept, although quite small and out of date. It is really more like a motel than a lodge. The staff is super friendly and helpful even in the midst of a vast...

The room was clean and comfortable! You have everything you need. The bathroom supplies you with shower gel, shampoo, towels etc. There is a TV with all the Channels you need! The beds are comfortable and clean. You can walk in about 10 minutes to the South Rim! Wonderful!

We wanted somewhere close to the South Rim so that we could watch both the sunset and sunrise without having a lengthy journey to and from where we were staying, and Yavapai Lodge provided exactly that. It was very clean, comfortable with a good private bathroom and shower and restaurant and bar close to hand and at £150 ($184) a...
