This "village" is huge, with large sections devoted to cabins, camping, and trailers. We rented a cabin for one night. It cost over $200. It was VERY cozy. The beds were firm - just the way we like them, and the bed linens were fine....More
We try doing something special for our 37th this year and found this exceptional opportunity in the Tetons at the colter bay cabins.
The cabin was just wat we expected. Nice and quaint. For the rate we paid I thought it was fair comparing to...More
I’m reviewing this as a site in a national park. If you want “glamping” and all the frills, head to the lodges. If however you want basic creature comforts in a stunning location (and it is stunning), then this is for you. Cabins were basic...More
We lucked out and got a two bedroom cabin with bath for two nights. Each bedroom was nicely furnished with two comfortable double beds and a desk. They were very spacious. The beds were comfortable, and each room had its own heating unit. (Surprisingly we...More
Our neighbor apparently did not realize how well sound traveled to our room - even after we tried to politely tell them. But, that is not the places fault [sort of]. Nice room, easy drive right up to door. I think was most expensive palace...More

We stayed in the tent cabins rather than the campground so i cant comment specifically on the rv sites. You absolutely must stay in yellowstone if youre planning to spend time there. Its a good 2+ hr drive just to the most southern sites in yellowstone from gt and itd be even farther to hit the northern part of the park. Grand teton by itself is worth at least two nights though if you like to hike you should spend more time because the hiking and ranger programs are spectacular. For yellowstone id plan minimum 3 full days of sightseeing. I also think rv rental is a bad idea. Much cheaper to rent cabins or tent cabins plus finding parking in summer for an rv will be miserable at all sights. Both parks are very crowded and driving around in an rv will not be fun. Bp
