We did not actually stay at Headwaters but I just wanted to comment on how great the staff was helping those of us detoured while trying to get into Yellowstone. They went out of there to help all of us there...thank you!

Great location. Easy to visit the Tetons and Yellowstone from here.
The cabins are large, clean and in excellent condition. The domestic staff obviously take a pride in their work.
The beds are exceptionally comfortable.
There is a gas station and well-stocked store on site....More
Stayed here for a wonderful breakfast with ever so nice and attentive waiters on our way through. Had a look around in the lodge shop and the cabins and the surroundings. What a shame we did not find a room in the time we wanted....More
The cabins are in a convenient location to visit both Yellowstone and grand Tetons. They are basically in the middle. The surroundings are peaceful, the room is in the middle of the woods, although not a very interesting one. Value for the price? Not great....More

These cabins are quite basic, yes there's no electricity, it's camping indoors. Having said that, pretty good campgrounds in my experience. Also the restaurant at Headwaters is really good. We stayed for three days and had good meals, and the coffee is highly recommended.
