We booked Cabin 6 for 2 nights. The setting is picture perfect. The cabin wasn't fit for farm animals. We are campers, having done backpacks, tents, and RVs over the last 45 years. We do outhouses when called for and we aren't afraid of rustic anything. However, these cabins are dangerousI was astonished that these cabins were offered to anyone....

There are many things to rate about this resort. There is the lake, the campground, the cabins and then, there is the restaurant. We didn't stay here so can't rate the cabins or the campground. We did spend time admiring the gorgeous, gorgeous lake and then, we ate at the restaurant. What I am rating is the restaurant and the...

We were in search of an Olympic National Park RV site that would offer a peaceful (no fireworks) weekend for the 4th of July holiday weekend and reservations. Fireworks are prohibited on Lake Crescent and the national park. With the many negative reviews we found online, we were nervous about staying at this resort. We are extremely glad we stayed...

While this was our second trip to LCR we were sorely disappointed with the RV site we had. We had to have family bring a rake to clean up the pad and table area, the spot was teeny tiny and we are in a 19 foot trailer! They "quiet" hours were not quiet dogs barking, kids crying all night and...

We stayed in a chalet at the Log Cabin Resort. While the view is beautiful, the actual room looked like it had not been well cleaned in some time. There was mildew on the walls in the bathroom, and every wall needed a fresh coat of paint. And while there was a sink, mini fridge and micro wave, there was...

At Log Cabin Resort, the crystal blue waters of Crescent Lake and the mountain backdrop make your waking hours placid and relaxing. This site is truly magnificent. We stayed in a cabin (7c) above the lodge (overlooking lodge and lake) and it is this cabin I am reviewing. There are also chalets lakeside, and a few rooms adjacent to the...

We had a wonderful long weekend camping at Log Cabin Resort in our Airstream. The lakeside location is absolutely idyllic. Lake Crescent itself is amazingly beautiful. The lodge is rustic, but pleasant. The staff are very nice and helpful. The campground is well set-up, with full hook-ups at every RV site (30 amps, water, sewer). It's a small campground with...

I stayed one night last year in a camper cabin, strictly for its location by the lake. The outside of the cabin was fine but the mattress should have been replaced loooooooong ago. Even at my light weight, the thing sagged pitifully. The overall appearance inside was dark and musty. The one light had an absurdly dim CFL bulb in...

What can go wrong in a location like this with log cabins right on the shore of a glorious lake? In addition the local people on the staff are polite and helpful. But for Aramark it is a step-child among other properties they run in the Olympic Park. What really pissed me off, was the sink in the bathroom. It...

The view of Lake Crescent is the best part of the Log Cabin (Last) Resort, but was not enough to keep us here for the night. Cabin #5 is disgusting! I am a seasoned traveler to NPS properties and this is the worst place I have ever encountered. The entrance door only opened halfway, no curtain above the toilet so...
