We decided to camp here for a night (after two nights at Moraine Campground).

The campground on the west side of the park, nice spot. About 20 elk stopped in for a visit. It is. The overflow campground that doesn't take reservations. Loved it! Not far to drive from one side of the park to the other either.
We arrived quite late in the day, but it was no problem to get a campsite at all.
Anything was clean and each campsite has its own firepit and picknick table.

We stayed one night at Timber Creek while touring the park. The campground fills up fast, so I highly recommend getting a spot early (first-come-first-serve). The view is fantastic, as you're in the middle of the valley surrounded by mountains. In fact, my only complaint...More
