This is a beautiful hotel, divided up into 3 separate buildings. The setting is wonderful with the chance to see an occasional fawn/deer/elk. It's quiet, the rooms are big and nicely appointed with a mini-fridge (but no microwave) and coffee maker.
One day, our room...More
The Wuksachi Lodge is a beautiful place to get away in the forest and stay comfortably. It is accessible to the Sequoias and Giant Redwoods and is a warm welcoming place to come into in the winter. The rooms are comfortable and the food delicious.More

Thank you for visiting Sequoia National Park and we appreciate that you stayed with us. I hope that someday you can visit during the spring or summer to witness the Dogwoods in bloom and then the many babies that are born in the...More
I really don't understand how so many people have rated this lodge so highly. Reviews should realistically be in the average category, due to a lot of shortcomings:
1. Rooms are in separate buildings, away from main reception
2. Paved walkways to and from Sequoia...More
We stayed here for a few days on our visit to the national park because of its location in the park. The lodge is rustic but comfortable. Your actual room will be located in an entirely different building approximately 100 to 300 yards away from...More

Wuksachi is only 4 miles to General Sherman Tree and Congress trail and a quick drive to the museum where you also pick up the shuttle to Moro Rock, Crescent Meadows and Tharp's Log as well as other sites. Muir is a 45 minute ride away in Kings Canyon...I would split it up if you want to spend time in Kings canyon also.
