My husband and I had an excellent long weekend at the lodge! We would recommend Sequoia National Park as a perfect nature vacation spot for families or couple. Everyone should see the giant sequoias. Uksachi lodge is the perfect location within thr park. Enjoy!

I would do it all yourself. Why pay and be with all the other people? From Wuksachi...General Sherman Tree and Congress Trail is a mere 10 minute car ride, Moro Rock you park at the museum which is 12 to 15 minutes and take a free shuttle, from there it is another free 10 minute shuttle to Crescent Meadow and Tharp's Log and other hiking trails. The cost is free! You are very close to all the main attractions. If you are going to see Kings Canyon see that's on the way in or going out so not worth going to Sequoia and backtracking 30 miles to there..on the way out to Fresno
