          Clean quiet campground for the number of sites in the campground. Campsites vary greatly and all had bear boxes, but did not see any bears while there (they must be working). Bathrooms were clean and the campground store was relatively close. Pay showers were available...More

          Rugged feeling Campground with nice sized campsites, beautiful scenery, and ample wildlife. The good: It's close to the sights, hiking, showers, laundry, and store.           Lodgepole Visitor Center area has an establishment next door to it that offers showers at $1.00 for 3 minutes, laundry ( 1.00 wash sm load + .50 for 20 minute dryers) and a good selection for food and drink. The toilets in the shower area...More

          Were in the planning stage for our trip next June. Looking for help with campsite location.. We want ot be near the water and are looking at loop 36-60... which end of the loop is better? Sites 52-54 or 40-41, 42,44? these are walkin site and were fine with that... any suggestions would be helpful and greatly appreciated

          Hi, I have written a Lodgepole review many years ago. The tent site you are looking for is #101. I stayed there and vouch that it is VERY close to water. If you cannot get 101, it's quite hard to reserve it, then stay on the... More
