I have very mixed reviews on this lodge. If you are looking for beautiful, peaceful surrounding, you will find it here. A river runs along side it, which makes it even more pleasant. So the park itself is beautiful. The lodge is on a dead end road, so one way in and one way out - you won't find a...

Sounds of the rushing river nearby will lull you to sleep. We went in August, and the water was low enough to enjoy a refreshing swim, just a few steps from the lodge. Take A short drive in either direction to see waterfalls. Nice variety of food choices at the snack bar, too. Free wifi, but sometimes weak.

This is a great place. Beautiful location. Several hiking trails nearby, especially the Zumwalt Meadow and Roaring River Falls. Breakfast was good. The staff was helpful. The gift shop/grocery store was convenient.

Basic facility in an area of absolutely fantastic natural beauty and access to wonderful outdoor recreation. The facility itself needs refurbishing and modernization but the convenience of being in the Park and close to hiking and giant Sequoias makes up for that.

It is very close to some of the beautiful vista points in the entire Canyon! It's decent, quite and clean. We purchased the breakfast package which comes with $26 voucher. I recommend to stay here. I have not used camp grounds yet :)

Loved this place! So peaceful and comfortable. The river is just outside the front door, staff were lovely, rooms comfortable and clean. It was the perfect spot to see zumwalt meadows at sunrise, only a few minutes drive away. I would love to come again, thanks for an excellent stay :)

The lodge is clean, with basic facilities. Heat and air-conditioned rooms. Small snack bar had nice food offerings for 3 meal times. Store provided usual drinks and snacks as well as other necessities. Nature surrounds you here. The ranger presentations offered were excellent. Nice walking/hiking trails. We saw deer, mamma bear and 2 cubs, and a variety of birds.

The Cedar Grove Lodge provided excellent amenities and the staff provided warm and welcoming hospitality. The Cedar Grove Lodge was more than a "basecamp" from which to explore Kings Canyon. We were very satisfied with our stay.

Cozy room. Small window and bath. Plan to spend lots of time outdoors soaking in the gorgeous riverfront property and nearby hiking opportunities. We really enjoyed the hike to Mist Falls at the end of the road (9 miles roundtrip, mostly flat). Be sure your car is in good working condition as there is no garage in the canyon.
