Product OK - owner & pilots could be more customer-friendly. Atmosphere very macho. Food ok. Lunch same every day. The flying is breathtaking. Somewhat more hospitality would make this lodge a perfect place !

After I booked this trip last fall, I worried for months about how much I had paid for our stay at Ultima. When we departed after 4 absolutely unique days of adventuring, both my wife and I considered the experience a bargain. This lodge is a testimony to vision, hard work, respect and awe for the Elias Wrangell wilderness, and...

Our family spent 5 days in this 5-star Alaskan Paradise. We ranged in age from 28 to 70 and each person had a spectacular experience. Each person or couple got their own cabin, airplane with pilot, and customized adventure tour. We and our pilot believes we were the first humans to explore one of the glaciers. There was a lot...

We just got home from Ultima Thule Lodge and we were blown away by the experience! From start to finish the experience was top notch! Communication and booking was made super easy by Ellie. She handles much of the communication and hosting at the Lodge. The whole family and staff did all they could to make our stay as comfortable...

Truly spectacular place, fantastic service. Very nice people. We have traveled quite a bit, and I do not remember being so impressed with the grandeur of nature in a totally unspoiled setting. Being able to see it with a private plane and guide allows you to appreciate and enjoy it at totally another level.

Read the other reviews- all the positives are spot on! Our experience at Ultima Thule exceeded our expectations on every level. The entire staff was amazing. We would highly recommend an adventure here without any reservation, and we would definitely return.

Where do you start with perhaps the most unique experience one can have on planet Earth? A luxury lodge that is scores of miles from any other even tiny spot of civilization. This is NOT a luxury resort where you lay by a gleaming swimming pool. It is a wilderness adventure lodge situated in a vast untouched scenic wilderness that...

Most of the reviews have covered all the main highlights of Ultima Thule and I can echo all of them. The staff is gracious, friendly, attentive and fun. The location and grounds are unbeatable. The daily adventures are like nothing else you will find. Even the food far exceeded our very high expectations. I think the best part about the...

Visiting Ultima Thule was an amazing experience. The staff were incredibly wonderful. Everyone was helpful and friendly and the service was tremendous. The guides were experienced and we had an amazing time whenever we left to go on an excursion. Returning from each excursion was an equally great experience. We were always greeted with a smile, hot towels, drinks, and...

It would be impossible to pick a favorite memory of Ultima Thule Lodge. From our arrival at Chitina airstrip to our departure from the lodge, each day was filled with special moments. The Claus family, lodge staff, and fellow guests all contributed to a wonderful experience. Our cabin was spacious, beautifully designed, and well thought-out. Shower was great, bed was...
