Great beachfront spot for solo travel or with a group of friends. The food was amazing, and there are plenty of drinks with a great bartender. Perfect waves with no crowds. The local knowledge of the breaks was super helpful to pinpoint exactly where and when to surf. Loved it so much I went back 3 months later.

I am a returning guest at SOLID and each time I am welcomed with open arms. The hospitality is second to none and they always keep me guessing what new and exciting things I can find. Martha the manager and chef cooks incredible meals both breakfast and dinner and ensures you are taken care of in every way. Saul their surf instructor is a world class surfer who wether you’re a beginner or professional will show you the ins and outs of surfing perfect uncrowded beach breaks in the small town of El Transito. I have absolutely nothing to complain about living the perfect beach lifestyle in the amazing country of Nicaragua. And if there’s one place you can be sure to fulfill your expectations it’s SOLID Surf. Thank you Martha, Saul, and Allison for everything.

Went on a solo trip and had an amazing time at Solid Surf. Stayed for a week and met some amazing people from all over the world (france, germany, canada, etc.) Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Best waves Ive ever surfed with offshore winds and consistent with any tide throughout the day. El Transito is definitely a gem. Will be back soon!
