Friendly and helpful staff, basic but adequate and clean accommodation which has central heating. The heating was welcome as they had the first snow fall of the winter. The food was typical of any Spanish country hotel, basic but copious amounts. This hotel is old and a bit tired, however we would definitely stay here again. There is free WiFi... More

Hotel was basic but spotlessly clean. Large room with large bathroom. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Typically Spanish food but so much of it at every meal time that I think I put on a stone whilst we was there. Drink was the same, just had to hold your wine jug up and it was replaced with another. Would... More

We spent two nights 25th&26th September. The hotel is lovely and within easy walking distance of the interesting village of Canete. The food was good but if you have vegetarian requirements make sure you inform them in good time. Both nights after the evening meal (and plentiful wine) we went down to the hotel bar where comfort and warmth were... More

We spent two nights at Hosteleria de Canete as part of Dave's Coachtrips to the Cuenca Province. Spacious accommodation in this country hosteleria with a bar near a roaring wood fire, simple but fresh, plentiful and tasty food served by efficient and pleasant staff ensured that we had a relaxing time. The visits, walks where perfectly organised by Dave's coachtrips... More

Visited for 2 nights as part of a 3 day David's coach trips tour of this area. Food is plentiful (you wont starve) and staff did their best to accommodate my special diet due to my wheat intolerance. Travelled with my family but required a single room (I am a widow). Room supplied was spacious and good (believe me I... More

Stayed at this hostel as part of a package tour with 'David's Coachtrips', Murcia, Spain. The rooms were very good, clean and reasonably spacious. The staff friendliness, efficiency, professionalism along with the food quality was excellent for the cost. Wine and water was free flowing, drink as much as you want during meal times inclusive of the stay costs. The... More
